When the ‘Scrubs’ Revival Will Be Released on ABC, Hulu, and Disney+

The plan for bringing back Scrubs is pretty simple, though the release dates can seem a bit confusing. There are actually two dates being advertised for the premiere of the first two episodes, and both are accurate. While other shows are now using this type of release strategy, it wasn’t around when Scrubs originally ended in 2010, which really highlights how long it’s been since we’ve seen the show.

Despite not being as massively popular as some other comedies at the time, Scrubs built a loyal following. The show frequently faced cancellation and even had to switch networks, moving from NBC to ABC for its eighth season, just to stay on the air. The upcoming revival will also air on ABC, keeping it on traditional television. Plus, these new episodes will be available to stream after they first air on TV, but the release date for streaming is still unknown.

When, Where, & How To Watch the ‘Scrubs’ Revival

The first season of Scrubs will premiere on ABC with two back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, starting at 8 PM Eastern Time. New episodes are planned to air each Wednesday afterward, with the season finale expected on April 15. Viewers who prefer to stream can watch each episode on Hulu the day after it airs on ABC.

The first two episodes of the show will air on ABC on February 25th, and then become available to stream on Hulu the following day, February 26th. Unlike some shows that are now released early on streaming services, it’s unlikely Scrubs will deviate from this standard schedule. ABC generally releases episodes weekly, and it’s mostly been shows designed for streaming, like Fallout and Pluribus, that have had their release dates adjusted. Even if a change is announced, ABC will probably still air an episode on TV a day before it appears on Hulu.

Just having Disney+ doesn’t automatically mean you’ll be able to watch the new Scrubs episodes. Even though Disney+ and Hulu are linked, they’re still separate services. You might have one without the other, even if you subscribe to a bundle. If you only have Disney+, watching the episodes when they first air on ABC is your best bet, or you could consider adding a Hulu subscription. While some ABC shows appear on Disney+ a day after they air, it’s not guaranteed that Scrubs will follow this pattern.
