What time does VALORANT Season 2025 // Act 3 start? Countdown to release
You’ll recognize that you’re near the start of VALORANT Season 2025 – Act 3 when the latest update details (patch notes) are released. These updates will be accessible starting on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 6 a.m. Pacific Time. This is usually when updates are scheduled to drop.
This coming evening, the servers will be taken offline for maintenance. Typically, this occurs about an hour prior to the start of a new act, and once they’re operational again, you can jump straight in. Keep an eye on the timer displayed above for the exact time.
What to expect with the new Act?
Unlike Season 2025 Act 2, VALORANT’s upcoming third act doesn’t seem to be introducing a significant amount of fresh content. A new Agent named Waylay has recently joined the roster, but no announcements have been made about a new map, weapon, or other additions.
Of course, there is still new content to enjoy, even if the patch isn’t too massive:
- A new Premier schedule to compete in
- A change in the map rotation with Fracture being replaced by Sunset
- Potentially a new skin collection
- A new Battlepass to grind
- Full patch notes with all changes, bug fixes, nerfs/buffs, etc.
