When does Power Book II: Ghost return with new episodes? (Everything to know)

As a die-hard fan of the Power Universe since its inception, I eagerly await the return of Power Book II: Ghost season 4 part 2. The suspense has been building ever since that jaw-dropping cliffhanger back in June, and I can hardly contain my excitement.

Find out when you can catch the final episodes of “Power Book II: Ghost,” the thrilling continuation of the original “Power” series that took Starz by storm in 2014. The show, centered around James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), alias “Ghost,” a nightclub-owning drug lord, quickly became one of the network’s top hits. Across six seasons, it delved into the complex world of James as he navigated power struggles amidst intricate relationships

The final episode revealed James had been shot dead in a fight with his own son, Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) Tariq’s mother, Tasha (Naturi Naughton) took the fall for it in the hopes Tariq could have a better life. The show would spawn spin-offs in Book III: Kanan (a prequel set in the 1990s) and Book IV: Force (focusing on James’ best friend Tommy embarking on his own journey).

Title II: Specter continues the story as Tariq works tirelessly to secure his mother’s release from prison while juggling college life. To cover his mom’s legal expenses, Tariq resorts to dealing drugs and finds himself unwittingly emulating his father’s criminal path, building his own empire along the way. Initially, it was revealed that season 4 would be the last for the series; however, fans were taken aback when it was divided into two parts. So, when can we expect the second half of Power Book II: Ghost season 4 to air?

When does Power Book II: Ghost season 4 part 2 come out?

The fourth season of “Power Book II: Ghost,” which debuted on Starz on June 7, 2024, was initially announced as its final run. After five episodes, the series took a break due to several factors, including the impact of the 2023 Hollywood strikes on production and Starz’s practice of splitting seasons for some of their top-rated shows. The network may be aiming to increase viewership by airing the finale in the fall

Power Book II: Ghost season 4 part 2 premieres Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 with episode 6, “Devil’s Playground” at midnight ET on the Starz app and via linear at 8 p.m. ET in the U.S. The final five episodes of the show will be released weekly. This means the series finale will air on Oct. 4. Check out the release schedule below:

  • Episode 6 – Sept. 6 at 12 a.m. ET on the app, 8 p.m. ET on the channel
  • Episode 7 – Sept. 13 at 12 a.m. ET on the app, 8 p.m. ET on the channel
  • Episode 8 – Sept. 20 at 12 a.m. ET on the app, 8 p.m. ET on the channel
  • Episode 9 – Sept. 27 at 12 a.m. ET on the app, 8 p.m. ET on the channel
  • Episode 10 – Oct. 4 at 12 a.m. ET on the app, 8 p.m. ET on the channel

We even have the synopsis for the start of part 2, episode 6. We shared it below:

With eyes back on their business, Tariq and Brayden must find a way to get back in Noma’s good graces; Diana is faced with a dilemma: stepping further into the game than she’s ever gone before, or risk her family’s safety.

Incidentally, it’s been announced that “Power Book IV” will conclude with its third season, and simultaneously, work on “Book III’s” fifth season has begun, which is also expected to be its final installment. There’s talk of a potential prequel series that could delve into the early careers of young James and Tommy in the business

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that we’re about to embark on the final leg of “Power Book II: Ghost” starting this week! The tension and plot development so far promise a exhilarating and violent journey towards its conclusion. This ride is set to be the perfect finale for this installment of Starz’s crime saga

The fourth season of “Power Book II: Ghost” resumes on Friday, September 6th at midnight (ET) on the Starz app, or 8 p.m. (ET) on the TV channel
