Plus, Lori Loughlin will be returning to her role as Abigail Stanton, much to the delight of fans. Erin Krakow quickly shared her excitement and appreciation for her returning co-star.

Lori Loughlin was a main cast member on When Calls the Heart for its first six seasons, but she was removed from the show after becoming involved in the 2019 college admissions scandal. The storyline explained her character, Abigail, had to care for a sick mother. Later, Loughlin joined the spinoff series When Hope Calls as Abigail. Fans weren’t sure if she’d ever return to When Calls the Heart, so the announcement that she’ll appear in multiple episodes of the upcoming fourteenth season was a pleasant surprise. While it’s unknown how Loughlin’s character will return to Hope Valley, it seems fitting that many scenes will feature interactions with Krakow’s Elizabeth. For now, I’m happy to see Krakow and Loughlin working together again on the show.

Krakow shared a heartwarming message, clarifying that her happiness and tears were due to excitement, not pregnancy hormones. She’s expecting her first child with her husband and co-star, Ben Rosenbaum, and has had a lot to celebrate recently.
