When and where will Super Bowl LX be played in 2026?
Although Super Bowl LIX has concluded, it’s not premature at all to begin considering the upcoming season!
Here’s everything we know about the next NFL championship game:
When is Super Bowl LX?
Feb. 8, 2026.
Where will Super Bowl LX be played?
The stadium known as Levi’s in Santa Clara serves as the home ground for the San Francisco 49ers. This will be the second time a Super Bowl is held there, with the Denver Broncos having clinched their victory over the Carolina Panthers (24-10) in Super Bowl 50, which took place after the 2015 season. Prior to this, Stanford Stadium had hosted a Super Bowl (Super Bowl XIX), where the 49ers defeated the Miami Dolphins (38-16) following the 1984 season, making it the third time that a Super Bowl was held in the Bay Area.
Sports
The National Football League (NFL) has chosen Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara as the venue for Super Bowl LX in 2026, which is where the San Francisco 49ers usually play their home games.
What channel will Super Bowl LX be on?
As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that “Sunday Night Football” will be airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock. Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth are expected to be the commentators, although it might be a bit of a juggling act for Tirico. He’s also set to host NBC’s prime-time coverage during the Milano Cortina Winter Games from February 6th to the 22nd. On top of that, Tirico has been appointed as the lead NBA play-by-play announcer for NBC and Peacock starting this fall. So, get ready for a fantastic season of sports on our screens!
Which teams will play in Super Bowl LX?
It’s still a bit too soon to predict with certainty, but it looks like the Kansas City Chiefs are likely contenders for the AFC spot in the Super Bowl, given they’ve participated in five out of the last six. However, there’s a chance that teams like the Buffalo Bills or Baltimore Ravens could break through their barriers. On the NFC side, the Philadelphia Eagles, being the defending champions, might make a return. The Detroit Lions are hoping to settle some scores from the past two seasons, and the Washington Commanders could potentially build on their recent upward trend.

Sports
The Kansas City Chiefs aim to make history as the first team to win three straight Super Bowls, yet a significant number of spectators suspect that the referees might be favoring them, potentially contributing to their victories.
Who is performing the Super Bowl LX halftime show?
It’s uncertain at this point, but given that Kendrick Lamar performed this year, it seems reasonable to anticipate Drake taking the stage next time, doesn’t it? As for a future event highlighting Bay Area talent, there are many appealing choices such as Green Day, Metallica, Journey (maybe even Steve Perry), remnants of the Grateful Dead, E-40, Too Short, and arguably the most intriguing – MC Hammer.
