What's wrong with Paul in 911: Lone Star season 5, episode 4? (Preview)

As a long-time fan of 911: Lone Star, I can’t help but feel a sense of unease as Paul steps into his new role as lieutenant in season 5, episode 4. The promo hints at some sort of injury that he’s trying to hide, and we all know how dangerous it is when our brave firefighters try to push through the pain. I can’t help but recall the time T.K. tried to ignore his broken arm during a rescue mission – let’s just say things didn’t go as planned!

In the 5th season, 4th episode of “911: Lone Star,” it’s Paul’s debut as the new lieutenant for the 126. However, things seem challenging for him at the moment.

Previously, Owen chose to promote Paul as lieutenant. Marjan played a significant role in this decision by endorsing him as the ideal candidate. Regardless of whether his name was written down or not, it is Paul who will receive the promotion. We’re curious about how he’ll perform.

Is Paul injured in 911: Lone Star season 5, episode 4?

The teaser for the episode suggests that Paul might be dealing with some kind of injury. He appears to have difficulty climbing the stairs of a building while carrying a drill, and later, it seems like he’s about to fall as he drills into a wall. Despite his efforts to hide it, it’s evident that he’s experiencing discomfort. However, the exact nature of what has transpired remains unclear.

Later on, there’s a scene where Owen ponders if he erred by advancing Paul. This doubt doesn’t appear to stem from Paul being hurt physically. Instead, it seems to be rooted in the fact that Paul didn’t disclose his injury, which could potentially risk lives and endanger others due to his silence.

I’m in a desperate situation here. There’s a woman who’s in labor and urgently needs a blood transfusion. The catch? She’s stuck in an elevator, and the only way to reach her is by drilling through the wall. Paul’s being tight-lipped about it, but if we don’t act fast, this woman could lose her life.

In summary, it’s clear that Cassandra will show up later on. Tommy thinks it’s necessary for them to meet her eventually. It seems the dinner might turn out to be a disaster, perhaps due to the kids’ behavior or because of Cassandra being difficult to get along with. After all, there must be a reason why someone becomes an ex, right? And since we know Cassandra works for the IRS, it promises some entertaining discussions!

Check out the promo and synopsis for 911: Lone Star season 5, episode 4:

The 126 are called on the scene to a hoarder’s rat-infested house, then are trapped in an elevator as a woman goes into labor; Tommy and Trevor host his ex-wife Cassandra for dinner which goes awry.
