Season 4 of The Finals has arrived, brimming with fresh elements for the game! Expect a new map, weapons, and plenty of other exciting updates.
Season 4 of The Finals has arrived, and as reported by Embark Studios, there’s been a significant surge in player numbers. Many are finding it familiar, reminiscent of the game’s first season and beta phases. This renewed interest is largely attributed to the update rolled out with Season 4, which introduced a plethora of fresh content and provided some players with a new beginning.
Let’s go over the hot ticket items that are new in The Finals with its fourth season.
The top new items and content for The Finals Season 4
Looking ahead, the return to The Finals in Season 4 promises plenty of excitement! Fresh weaponry, a brand-new battlefield, and many other features are ready for you to explore and use.
Here’s what you can expect if you’re coming back after being an OG player.
Fortune Stadium map
In collaboration, Holtow, Engimo, and Iseul-T are jointly backing the latest map introduced in The Finals tournament. Known as Fortune Stadium, it features distinct zones tailored for each sponsor within an efficiently designed metropolitan setting.
As I navigate through this intricate map, I can’t stress enough the importance of minding my steps. A single misjudged leap between locations could lead to a perilous plunge, swiftly transporting me to the respawn countdown screen below.
Three new weapons come to The Finals Season 4
All three player classes in The Finals get new weapons with the latest season:
- .50 Akimbo (Heavy): Dual-wield pistols that are lethal, but require precision.
- Pike-556 (Medium): A marksman rifle with a scope that gives the Medium class a solid ranged option.
- M26 Matter (Light): It may look like a rifle, but looks can be deceiving with this damaging pump-action shotgun.
Whenever a fresh weapon graces The Finals, I’m always eager to splurge some points and experiment with it on my preferred character. If you feel the same way, you might want to consider doing the same!
Sponsor contracts
In The Finals Season 4, the sponsors that are visibly present on the game’s maps, cosmetics, and weapons now have a greater presence. When you initially enter the game, you can choose to affiliate with either HOLTOW, ENGIMO, or ISEUL-T.
For the remainder of Season 4, your decisions matter significantly. By fulfilling contracts and excelling in games, you can win fan support which in turn leads to sponsor incentives. Consider this a smaller version of a battle pass tailored exclusively for the sponsor you’ve chosen.
Ranked Cashout returns in The Finals Season 4
In the third season of The Finals, a major topic of discussion was the removal of Cashout from ranked matches and replacing it with Terminal Attack, a single-life Search and Destroy style mode. However, Season 4 has brought back ranked Cashout.
In a 24-player competition, Cashout gathers eight teams together using a tournament format. To enhance the competitive and ranked experience, tournaments are now organized according to each team’s strength.
