What to expect in World’s Most Notorious Killers

Each episode takes us around the world. While the first episode takes place in Gloucester, England, we then head to Austria, Belgium, Australia, and Southeast Asia. It’s a scary world!

Episode 1: The West Murders

In this initial installment, we’re transported to the city of Gloucester, England, as an investigation into a missing girl uncovers a chilling and horrifying truth: beneath the residence of Fred and Rose West lay a cemetery. What unspeakable family secrets were unearthed in their household?

Episode 2: The Vienna Strangler

In the second installment, our journey takes us to Vienna, Austria, a city that witnesses an unusual string of deaths with ties to Los Angeles, California. It’s Jack Unterweger who emerges as the world’s inaugural transatlantic serial killer in this chilling tale. This case serves as a grim reminder of the importance of careful judgment when choosing whom to trust.

Episode 3: The Monster of Belgium

In the third installment, I find myself drawn to the heart of Belgium as six young women mysteriously vanish. The chilling specter of “The Monster” looms large, but could this ruthless killer be part of a sinister alliance? What if he’s secretly connected to an ominous global network of pedophiles?

Episode 4: The Murder Down Under

In 1982, when Lynette Dawson vanished, Christopher Dawson became a prime suspect due to the common notion that it’s often the spouse involved in such cases. Remarkably, it took police four decades to crack this case, even though Christopher swiftly brought their teenage babysitter into his household immediately following Lynette’s disappearance.

Episode 5: The Serpent

The final episode is the shocking story of Charles Sobhraj. After tourists in Southeast Asia are mysteriously killed, Charles confesses to everything. Now a free man, he shares his story exclusively for this series.

World’s Most Notorious Murders premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 17 on Peacock.
