With her hair and makeup, she really looks the part of the DC antihero. Honestly, it’s so convincing that some fans might believe it’s a real casting reveal.
I can easily imagine Sydney Sweeney as Harley Quinn, even within the world of Matt Reeves’ Batman. She’s a talented actress, and I think she’d bring a lot of charm and sensuality to the role. The idea of her having a showdown with Batman is really exciting! And, it wouldn’t be her first time acting in a superhero project if she were cast.
Sydney Sweeney appeared in Madame Web, playing the role of Julia Cornwall, who is also known as Spider-Woman. While her character is a teenager in the main story, she doesn’t actually become a superhero during those scenes. However, the movie includes short glimpses into the future where Julia is shown wearing her Spider-Woman suit and using her powers.

While she deserves another opportunity to play the character, I think she’d be fantastic in a more complex, emotionally challenging role within the DC universe, allowing her to showcase her acting skills and ability to portray vulnerability.
While Margot Robbie is fantastic as Harley Quinn, some incredibly realistic fan art featuring Sydney Sweeney has many believing she’d be a great fit for the role if DC ever decides to recast. With Robbie’s future as Harley uncertain, it’s fun for fans to imagine who could play her next, and Sweeney is a popular choice.
