What has Felicity Huffman done to her face? Shamed star shows off new look 6 years after Varsity Blues scandal
Felicity Huffman showed off a fresh new look as she stepped out in New York City on Wednesday.
62-year-old actress from Desperate Housewives showed off her radiant skin and appeared refreshed during her visit to Good Morning America.
After facing challenges for six years following her involvement in the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal, the actress made an impressive comeback by donning a stylish white overcoat paired with a matching white shirt and navy trousers.
Her beautiful platinum-colored hair was gracefully gathered into an elegant bun, while some loose strands gently framed her glowing visage.
Her young, fresh look sparked questions about potential recent facial plastic surgery.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Huffman’s representative for comment.

Huffman elevated her ensemble by donning a pair of black, open-toed high heels. She completed her look with oversized gold hoop earrings.
The actress made an appearance on GMA to talk about her character’s part in the upcoming two-parter, “The Thirteenth Wife: Breaking Free from Polygamy,” which is scheduled to air on Lifetime on May 31 and June 1.
Under the guidance of director Michael Nankin, this film recounts the authentic tale of Rena Chynoweth, an American woman who found herself entangled with a polygamist fundamentalist Mormon sect, the Church of the Lamb of God, headed by Ervil LeBaron.
Chynoweth gained notoriety due to her connection with the 1977 murder of Rulon C. Allred, who was a prominent figure within a different polygamous community.
Six years following the Varsity Blues scandal that put her behind bars, Huffman has been diligently working towards reviving her professional life.
Previously, Huffman openly discussed the impact the scandal has had on her, confessing that it seems like her former life has come to an end.
At the point when she was gearing up for her role in Hir on London’s West End, portraying a progressive and free-spirited mother of a transgender child, Huffman talked about her return to acting with The Guardian.
The performance signified Felicity’s return to acting following an 11-day incarceration in 2019, which occurred as a consequence of paying $15,000 in bribes to manipulate her daughter’s college entrance exam scores.
Speaking about her feelings as everyone in the room is aware of the verdict from her trial, Felicity remarked, “I carry it with me when I enter the room. I admit to it. It’s clear-cut and undeniable.
Felicity mentioned she’s still thinking over her current state following the incident, yet expressed gratitude for being alive. Her happiness stems from the fact that as long as her loved ones are in good health, she feels content.
According to the report, Felicity has hardly been employed since her incarceration, and when discussing the impact on her profession, she stated, “I recently tried out for a pilot on ABC, but it wasn’t selected. It’s been challenging.

Something along the lines of: ‘It feels as if your previous life has come to an end, and you too have ended with it. Fortunately for me, I have a family, affection, and resources, which allowed me to find a new starting point.’
In response to the revelation about the scandal, Felicity noted that while certain individuals have shown kindness towards her, there are others who have not.
One individual who’s expressed solidarity with her is the American playwright David Mamet. In a public statement, he discussed her imprisonment.
David proposed that Felicity ought to have been given the Texas-style verdict, implying she was found ‘not guilty’, however, a warning was issued to refrain from repeating the same action in the future.
Felicity acknowledged that David’s actions were both kind-hearted and courageous by defending her. However, she remained ambiguous about her agreement with his judgment.
In December 2023, after staying quiet for a long time regarding the scandal, Felicity admitted that she felt compelled, or had no other choice, to disobey the law.
Felicity paid $30,000 in fines and spent 11 days in jail after being charged with fraud.
She gave Rick Singer $15,000 to manipulate her daughter Sophia’s SAT grades so she could get into college, and she was one of several affluent and well-known parents caught up in the scandal.

Actress Lori Loughlin was also jailed for paying for both her daughters to be accepted into USC.
In a deceitful act, Lori and her partner Mossimo Giuliani made their daughters pretend to be athletic stars. They positioned them on exercise equipment like rowing machines to falsify application documents, portraying their daughters as accomplished athletes.
In a conversation with ABC following her court appearance, Felicity expressed that she found it amusing when FBI officers appeared at her residence to apprehend her.
People entered my house, woke up my daughters at gunpoint for a second time – something sadly familiar in the black and brown community – then they arrested me by putting my hands behind my back and cuffing them.
Initially, I inquired about changing my clothes. I had doubts and suspected it might be a prank. Then, I found myself questioning one of the FBI agents wearing body armor and carrying a firearm, asking, “Is this some kind of jest?
Felicity expressed remorse for the plan, as she believed there was no other option available at the moment due to Sophia’s learning difficulty, which made it challenging for her to be accepted elsewhere.
Sophia went on to study drama at Carnegie Mellon.
She expressed that it seemed necessary for her to provide her daughter with opportunities for the future. In essence, her daughter’s future was at stake, leading her to make the difficult decision to transgress the law.
It seems to me that I owe both an apology and a debt of gratitude to the academic community, as well as to the students and their families who make sacrifices and put in effort to advance honestly.
Felicity and her spouse, William H. Macy, enlisted the aid of a tutor named Singer, aiming to boost Sophia’s grades so she could secure admission to college.
It’s stated that she asserts the plan wasn’t immediately clear, but it became clear once Singer disclosed that Sophia wouldn’t get into any schools unless the process was oiled somehow.
A year later, he began expressing his belief that her daughter wouldn’t be admitted to any college she aspired to attend.
Not only did I trust him, but as he gradually unveiled his intricate plan, it felt as though – and this may sound unbelievable then – that was the sole course of action I saw for providing a future for my daughter.

‘And I know hindsight is 20/20 but it felt like I would be a bad mother if I didn’t do it.’
‘So – I did it,’ she said.
It hadn’t occurred to Sophia that her parents had arranged for someone to modify her test responses following her completion of the SATs, without her knowledge.
The plan entailed Singer bribing several unassuming SAT exam administrators, who in turn would artificially boost the scores of students after they had finished their tests.
In January 2023, the creative mind known as Singer was given a sentence of three and a half years behind bars. Following 16 months of incarceration in a federal penitentiary, he was freed in August 2024.
