This feature may seem familiar to trainers who opened the game on April Fool’s Day, as it shares similarities with the mechanic we experienced on that day.

It appears that Niantic may have secretly conducted experiments on us on April Fool’s Day! These Apple items function similarly to the prank Poké Balls from April Fool’s, as they contain various surprises when clicked. Despite their resemblance to Applin, the new Pokémon, unfortunately, these are just items and not guaranteed Pokémons themselves!
