West Ham superfan Danny Dyer shares his reaction to daughter Dani’s engagement to footballer Jarrod Bowen

Having followed Dani’s journey from her time on Love Island to her present-day blissful relationship with Jarrod, it’s heartwarming to witness true love between two people.

Actor from EastEnders past, aged 46, delightedly learned that his 27-year-old daughter will wed Jarrod, who plays for West Ham and England football teams.
On Sunday, the victor of Love Island announced joyous news on Instagram, prompting Danny to leave a swift response.
“They are the most beautiful couple I’ve ever seen. Now, it’s time to draft this speech. I love you both deeply.”
I, being an ardent fan of West Ham United, found myself in an unfamiliar situation when I met my future daughter’s fiancé for the first time.
At the Bonfire Night family gathering, Jarrod and this person immediately felt an intense connection, which they both recognized as being true love.
In an interview with TalkSport, he expressed, “I felt like taking his shoes off, making him relax on the couch, and giving him a soothing massage. But one has to be careful not to overstep boundaries.”
I long to see my daughter happy in love just as any father would, but when she’s with someone who isn’t suitable for her, she seems off-kilter to me. There’s an unsettling feeling that all is not well.
In his presence, she became “Dani,” a reflection of their deep connection. Love at its finest: mutual understanding. Admittedly, I may have fueled their relationship to some extent, but it’s undeniably a genuine and beautiful union between the two.
Dani and Jarrod share two fifteen-month-old daughters, Summer and Star. Additionally, Dani is mother to a three-year-old son named Santi, whom she raised with her former partner Sammy Kimmence.
The happy couple announced their engagement with a series of photos on Instagram on Sunday.
After England’s heart-wrenching loss in the Euros 2024 and seeing Dani weep inconsolably among the crowd, my partner and I could no longer contain our emotions. So, we packed our bags and escaped to a romantic getaway, determined to find solace and rekindle our love amidst the despair.
Reality TV personality Jarrod’s girlfriend was seen in the crowd with her father Danny (age 46) and younger sister Sunnie (age 17), cheering him on during England’s game.
Later on, when better fortunes smiled upon her, she happily took pictures with her future spouse, beaming with joy.
‘The most perfect day ever, so so happy!,’ Dani captioned the Instagram post.
