After her album, West End Girl, proved successful, the singer is looking to buy a luxurious new home in either Notting Hill – where she previously lived – or the popular celebrity neighborhood of Primrose Hill. She has a budget of up to £5 million.

Lily Allen’s album reached number two on the charts, and combined with her successful UK tour, it reportedly earned the 40-year-old singer a significant amount of money.

According to a source, Lily is spending money and actively searching for a new house. She’s eager to start a new chapter following her breakup and wants to find a place that’s perfect for her and her two daughters. She’s currently viewing several properties to find the right fit.

According to friends, the actress plans to rent out the West London apartment she purchased last year, around the time her marriage to David Harbour started experiencing difficulties.

Her search for a new home is happening at a time when she’s been criticized for extravagant spending, something she’s even admitted is hard to justify.

The singer recently shared that she was on a compulsive shopping spree and is now getting help for a spending addiction.
