When our beloved trio found themselves trapped in a freezing car, it looked like curtains for Layton. But then, just when hope seemed lost, out popped Roach – the savior we didn’t know we needed!

In Snowpiercer’s Season 4, Episode 8, the situation appeared grim for Layton, Josie, and Liana at the episode’s onset. Let me fill you in on what transpired and whether they survived the ordeal.

In no time at all, I found myself captivated by the trio’s predicament unfolding. Suddenly, a figure clad in an Animal Squad uniform appeared on the scene, initially causing me to suspect it was one of Milius’s henchmen. Yet, Roach unveiled himself as the masked man underneath, to my surprise.

As a devoted admirer, let me share this thrilling tale: I was fortunate to possess a snowcat, which proved instrumental in our life-saving mission. With the snowcat, I managed to transport Layton aboard and embark on our journey to New Eden. The timing couldn’t have been more critical, as it seemed Layton was teetering precariously close to death due to hypothermia.

With everyone now in New Eden again, it became crucial to prioritize guarding our town against Nima and his Animal Squad. Given that Layton and Josie recently discovered Nima had frozen the world, they have a rough idea of what’s ahead. They can’t rely on him under any circumstances.

How did Roach survive in Snowpiercer?

Indeed, there was uncertainty regarding the fate of Roach. We last observed him vanishing amidst a mountain range during a tempest alongside Oz.

Three tries were needed to uncover the story, and once it was revealed, it’s challenging to discern truth from embellishment in Roach’s account. However, it is accurate that he discovered a radio and a snowcat, which are crucial for explaining how he managed to save Layton, Josie, and Liana under the circumstances.

It seems to me that Animal Squad didn’t transform Roach; I believe he simply managed to grab a suit and slip away unnoticed. By chance, he was in the ideal spot when it mattered most, helping Layton, Josie, and Liana. Let’s try not to overanalyze this situation too much.
