Weezer’s Wife Filmed Serial Killer Show Before Shocking Police Shooting

On an episode of the reality show Ghost Adventures, Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s spouse, Jillian Lauren Shriner, delved deeper into topics with a somber undertone.

In November 2024, Shriner, known for authoring a book about America’s most notorious serial killer, Samuel Little, made an appearance on an episode of the reality series Ghost Adventures, which was hosted by Zak Bagans, as reported by TMZ.

A few months prior, Shriner was fatally wounded when police fired at her in Los Angeles, as they claimed she had waved a firearm towards them from her garden during an independent investigation on a Wednesday.

Initially brought to the hospital due to non-fatal wounds, the individual was later accused of attempting to take another person’s life.

However, prior to the sensational dispute, Shriner, aged 51, was engrossed in narrating the tale of Little and his numerous victims.

A notorious murderer, who passed away in prison in the year 2020, was found guilty of eight homicides; however, he admitted to being responsible for the deaths of 93 individuals between the years 1970 and 2005.

It was determined by the FBI later on that he probably participated in around 60 murders, a number which would establish him as the most prolific American serial killer in history.

Reports to TMZ indicate that Shriner taped an episode of Ghost Adventures at Bagan’s Haunted Museum, situated in Las Vegas. Notably, the focus of this particular episode revolved around Little and his criminal activities.

For an episode centered around the topic of the serial killer, Shriner was a logical selection as a guest, given that she wrote the true-crime book “Behold The Monster: Facing America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer,” published in 2023, which delves into Little’s criminal activities.

Reports indicate that the author disclosed certain personal insights about Little, gained from frequent prison meetings with him during her research for her book.

They asserted that she shared explicit aspects about their discussions, as well as exposed chilling warnings that Little supposedly made towards her.

In November, Shriner posted pictures showing her with Little’s remains, which she currently holds.

She posted this chilling photo, right before setting up the Sam Little exhibit at The Haunted Museum (@thehauntedmuseum @realzakbagans), with the caption ‘Taken.’ In one image, she’s holding the tiny container, and another shows it inside a car trunk.

Based on reports from TMZ, it was revealed that Shriner handed over the remains (or ashes) of the serial killer to Bagan around September of the previous year. These remains are now on exhibit at Bagan’s haunted museum.

It seems the author of true crime novels is said to have admitted that she had been battling depression and turbulent emotions, living with Little’s ashes in the home she shares with her musical spouse. She believed handing them over to the reality show host could potentially bring a positive shift in her mental well-being.

Reportedly, some of the objects in Bagans’ Samuel Little collection include chilling paintings that Little claims to have created of the 93 women he admitted to murdering.

In a surprising twist, he too created a sketch of Shriner once their interviews started, an artwork that is said to be included in the museum’s collection presently.

This season, an episode featuring Shriners is expected to be aired on Ghost Adventures, with their premiere episode set for April 23.

In the midst of an unexpected turn of events on a typical Wednesday afternoon, I found myself unwittingly entangled in a high-stakes police pursuit. The allegations against me were severe, and the situation quickly escalated into a tense standoff with law enforcement authorities.

A man, suspected of being involved in a three-vehicle collision on the 134 Freeway at approximately 3 p.m., is said to have left the accident site along with two other males. Subsequently, he reportedly gained entry onto a neighbor’s property located in Los Angeles’ Eagle Rock district.

It’s said that the man went to such an extent that he removed all his clothes except for his underwear, then jumped into his neighbor’s pool and pretended to be a local by watering plants in a humorous manner.

At that moment, it is said that Shriner emerged from her residence brandishing a firearm; however, it remains uncertain whether she discharged any bullets. The authorities assert that she aimed her weapon towards police officers.

Law enforcement officers fired at her shoulder when she reportedly failed to comply with repeated instructions to put down the weapon.

In simpler terms, they used force against her because she didn’t follow orders about lowering a gun that she had.

Following the shooting incident, Shriner hurriedly retreated into her home, then moments later, she and her babysitter appeared outside with their arms raised. The police instructed them to lie down on the street afterwards.

As a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to share an insight based on a recent report by CBS News. In a situation I hope none of us have to face, a woman named Shriner reportedly stated that she had a firearm for self-defense purposes. This was in response to a suspect fleeing the neighborhood. It underscores the importance of feeling secure in our living environments.

Scott Shriner, the bassist from Weezer, who is 59 years old, informed a reporter from the New York Post that his wife was doing well after he encountered them outside their residence on Thursday.

He also mentioned that they’d meet up at Coachella, implying that his alt-rock group is indeed scheduled to play at the well-known music event starting this coming Friday, spanning over two successive weekends.
