As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news: A sequel to a popular project is underway! Originally scheduled for launch in 2029, we’re eagerly looking forward to its arrival.
As we move towards a sequel for the series, I can’t help but feel disheartened by the loss of such an iconic figure. It would be a fitting tribute if they dedicated part of ‘Coco 2’ to her memory – may she rest in peace.
Victor was born on July 25, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas and later moved to Los Angeles in the 60s.
Renee started her journey in the world of entertainment back in the 1980s, landing minor parts in series like Hotel and Matlock.

1992 saw her lending her voice to multiple characters across a total of 13 episodes in the animated show titled The Addams Family.
During the ’90s and the early 2000s, Victor also showed up on various TV programs including Team Knight Rider, The Tony Danza Show, Four Corners, and That’s Life.
From 2008-2009, the actress took on the role of Consuela in Tyler Perry’s series House Of Payne.
Additionally, she appeared in a grand total of 22 episodes, portraying the character Lupita within the series Weeds. This show also featured the talents of Mary-Louise Parker, Andy Milder, and Justin Kirk.
Afterward, Victor delved into the horror genre by portraying Irma Arista in Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones.
Previously, during an interview with Scene Creek, the actor looked back at her experience shooting the film series installment.
At some point, Renee mentioned that while filming Paranormal, she often had the sensation of her hair being gently tugged at the back.
‘Particularly during the scene where Andrew Jacobs grabbed my arm, I was genuinely terrified.’
Regarding the script, Victor disclosed that a large portion of her dialogue in the movie was actually improvised.

In my performance during the audition, everything I said seemed spontaneous because I made it up on the spot. This is why they were evaluating both my Spanish and English skills.
She mentioned, ‘Additionally, she can easily transition between languages and communicate effectively in Spanish, leaving no doubt for non-Spanish speakers about her fluency.’
A short while following her debut in the Paranormal realm, she went on to voice the character of Grandmother (Abuelita) in Disney-Pixar’s movie Coco.
The film garnered significant profits, earning approximately $814.3 million worldwide with an estimated production cost ranging from $175 to $225 million.
In March, it was confirmed by Disney’s CEO, Bob Iger, that a follow-up film to “Coco” is being developed and is expected to be released in theaters towards the end of 2029.
At that moment, he briefly mentioned: “Though the movie is still in its early development, we are certain it will abound with wit, emotion, and excitement. We can hardly contain our anticipation to reveal further details soon,” as reported by Variety.
Renee also appeared in the Snowpiercer series (2020-2021) as well as three episodes of Dead To Me.
In the Amazon Prime Video series, “With Love” (2021-2023), she portrayed the role of Marta Delgado.

Recently, Victor lent their voice acting skills for the character Khajiit in the remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which was launched in April this year.
In a chat with Clover Health back in 2022, the actress shared her insights on acting and its role in promoting wellbeing at any age.
She explained to the outlet, ‘It keeps everything sharp.
Exploring and inventing your character involves memorizing lines, creating a persona, styling hair and makeup, and dressing appropriately. The deeper you delve into your role, the more secrets and nuances about your character you uncover.
