Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers share fun behind-the-scenes video

As a seasoned gamer who has seen his fair share of eerie characters and binge-worthy series, I can confidently say that the upcoming season 2 of Wednesday is shaping up to be an exhilarating ride. The behind-the-scenes sneak peeks featuring Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers have only fueled my anticipation for this dark comedy.

As a fervent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that the second season of “Wednesday” is about to unfold, and the talented ladies, Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers, have offered us a tantalizing sneak peek into their characters’ journeys in this new installment.

In the video, Ortega and Myers dressed up in their Nevermore attire, with Ortega portraying Wednesday Addams and Myers playing the cheerful, optimistic character of Enid Sinclair, a werewolf.

In the video, they point out an unsettling characteristic that audiences noticed in the first season. It appears that while developing her character, Ortega masterfully crafted Wednesday’s prolonged, unnerving gaze, capable of maintaining it for extended periods without blinking.

In the video, Myers, now sporting a new hair color as Enid, invites viewers to watch her best friend. Afterward, she departs, allowing Ortega to be seen seated on some steps with an intense gaze fixed directly into the camera for what seems like an extended period.

“First to blink is a rotten corpse,” Wednesday‘s official Instagram account captioned the post.

People were amazed by Ortega’s party trick, as one person put it: “Let’s discuss the length of time Jenna can keep her eyes open for.

“And the award for best at not blinking goes to……” read another comment.

Her gaze seemed to penetrate deep within me, yet her conduct was impeccable throughout, a point that was also emphasized by the admiration shown for Enid’s striking blue and pink accents.

It appears as though one of the stars from Wednesday’s show attempted to outwit Ortega in a similar manner. Victor Dorobantu, portraying Wednesday’s faithful sidekick Thing, remarked: “I didn’t blink, I swear,” accompanied by a crying-laughing emoji.

In the second part of Tim Burton’s Netflix series, fans got an early glimpse behind the scenes this past month.

A video shared by the broadcaster features a scene where Ortega brandishes a knife and says, “It’s time for doll play,” while Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays her mother Morticia, hints that this upcoming season will be both larger in scale and even more intricately twisted.

It appears that season two will likely expand its cast, as additional actors are expected to contribute to the dark amusement.

In a new project, the actor who played Gomez Addams, Christopher Lloyd, is joining forces with Billie Piper from Scoop, Joanna Lumley from Fool Me Once, Steve Buscemi known for Boardwalk Empire, and Thandiwe Newton, star of Westworld.

I’m thrilled to have the talented Heather Matarazzo from “Scream,” Joonas Suotamo known for his work in “Star Wars,” Haley Joel Osment famed from “The Kominsky Method,” Noah Taylor recognized for his role on “Law & Order,” Evie Templeton who stole the show in “Return to Silent Hill,” and Owen Painter, a standout from “The Handmaid’s Tale” joining our cast. Can’t wait to see their magic unfold!

Wednesday streams on Netflix. Season 2 is in production.
