We could still see more of Phoebe in The Irrational Season 2

As a dedicated fan and avid gamer of “The Irrational,” I couldn’t help but feel a pang of disappointment when Phoebe, played by Molly Kunz, decided to leave the team at the end of season one. Her character added a fresh perspective to the show and provided valuable insights into the concept of “irrational rational” behavior. However, as someone who has followed the lives of these characters closely, I’m not ready to say goodbye just yet.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled that we finally have a release date for Season 2 of “The Irrational.” My curiosity is piqued as I ponder what lies ahead for each captivating character. In one scenario, I wonder if a favorite character will make an appearance once again.

In the initial season, Phoebe brought joy and vivacity as a new character. Her interactions with Rizwan provided valuable insights into the concept of “irrational rational” actions. Through their experiences with Alec Mercer, they both underwent a learning process.

Instead, Phoebe came to the conclusion that she should apply for a new position. Initially apprehensive about informing Alec, he later reassured her. Remarkably, he even suggested her for the alternative job, recognizing that it was essential for her to avoid hazardous situations in her workplace.

It’s not the end of the road for Phoebe in The Irrational

Arika Lisanne Mittman shared with TVLine that Phoebe’s departure might not be forever. Even though it seems Phoebe has moved on, there’s a possibility she could return for visits. Who knows if their paths will intersect again?

I can’t forget that the first season concluded with the suspenseful cliffhanger of Rose being kidnapped. As a devoted fan and loyal employee, Phoebe feels strongly about her boss and will undoubtedly want to be by his side during this ordeal as they work together to locate his missing girlfriend. Initially, she may have wished to avoid danger, but who among us doesn’t act impulsively under pressure? It’s natural for her to return and lend a hand in this critical situation.

It’s possible that she finds her current job dull in comparison to her previous role under Alec. The thrill of working with him might be hard to give up, and this could lead her to consider returning to him. However, going back isn’t a simple matter – it would depend on whether or not he had already filled her position.

Another possibility is that she might drop by occasionally to lend a hand. Their bond was strong, making her an ideal choice for Rizwan when he required someone to confide in.

Based on my experience working in the entertainment industry as a casting director, I’ve seen many situations where actors appear to have left a show, but in reality, their characters are still a part of it. Molly Kunz’s continued status as a series regular for Phoebe in the latest casting news is a clear indication that she could return to the series at any time. It’s not uncommon for storylines to take unexpected turns or for actors to negotiate new deals that keep them involved. So, while we may not have seen Phoebe for a while, I wouldn’t count her out just yet.
