We Are So Excited!
Elli Johnston is expecting a child with former boxer Liam Hillen.
Wayne Johnston’s daughter announced joyously on Instagram, posting a series of photos taken at Snapper Rocks, Queensland, as well.
In the close-up photo, Elli displayed her well-tanned and fit figure in a sleek black two-piece swimsuit, turning slightly to highlight her expanding belly.
The attractive pair found themselves in the shallow part of the sea, as Liam tenderly held her belly and looked at his beloved with deep affection.
In a different scene, Elli and Liam can be spotted relaxing side by side on the beach, as she casually places her well-groomed hand on her abdomen.
‘We are so so excited to meet you,’ she captioned the joyous frames.
It wasn’t long before the couple’s famous friends offered their well wishes.
‘Beautiful news. Congratulations xx,’ wrote Kate Waterhouse.
Previously on SAS Australia, renowned surfer Koby Abberton expressed agreement by using a heart and prayer hand emoji alongside a red love symbol.
In September, Elli publicly confirmed her romantic involvement with a former boxer on Instagram, following her separation from her ex-husband, the disgraced former NRL player Brett Finch, who they parted ways with in May 2023.
Elli and Liam went Instagram official in August 2024.
In a simpler and more direct rephrasing: Her initial post showcased her new partner during their winter vacation, with the revealing caption, ‘What refreshes you.’
A different picture displayed a pair who adore the sun, showcasing their toned bodies and affectionately embracing, on Duranbah Beach located in the farthest north of New South Wales, dressed merely in their swimming attire.
Liam has also posted a video showing him riding behind a bikini-clad Elli on the back of a jet ski.
Elli’s pregnancy news arrives nearly three years following the conviction of her former NRL player husband, Brett Finch, over charges related to distributing or advocating for child sexual abuse content, during a period marked by debilitating cocaine addiction.
The couple married in Melbourne in January 2018 and share daughter Mackenzie.
Elli recently celebrated her five-year-old daughter starting primary school.
