We Are Ona Brings Immersive Culinary Art to MATTER and SHAPE
At the second installment of MATTER and SHAPE, creative dining studio We Are Ona revealed an exceptional event blending culinary craftsmanship with live performances within the beautiful Jardin Des Tuileries.
Under the guidance of Luca Pronzato, the event took place in a space crafted by Willo Perron, adorned with numerous mirrors. Inspired by the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, Perron paid homage to the early era of modernism by marrying contemporary sophistication with formality. The atmosphere was enriched by grand FLOS lamps harmoniously embedded within the NO GA mirrors, resulting in a captivating setting where every element heightened the overall experience.
In a more natural and easy-to-read manner, London chef Imogen Kwok was asked to liven up the culinary side of things at the event. Renowned for her stunning food artworks that merge art, design, and cuisine, Chef Kwok showcased two tasting menus to conclude the temporary dining experience.
In every plate I savored, it felt like witnessing an extraordinary performance. The food, served as if on a stage, captivated me visually. Each careful move, each ingredient’s reveal, elevated the entire dining encounter, stirring my curiosity and engaging my senses well beyond just tasting.
