Wayne Rooney says he’s ‘fuming’ that wife Coleen no longer does his ironing or lays out his clothes every morning since having four kids

Wayne Rooney is frustrated because, with having children, his wife Colleen no longer finds the time to press his clothes for him.

Previously of Manchester United’s football team, now aged 39, the player openly admitted that prior to the arrival of their four sons – Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass – Colleen, who is also 39, used to choose his outfits each morning for him.

But thanks to their busy schedules, his wife doesn’t have the time to do that anymore.

In a chat on the Wayne Rooney Show podcast broadcasted by BBC, when asked about utilizing Coleen’s sharp sense of style, he admitted that she selected his daily outfits for him instead.

Wayne shared that prior to having children, Coleen would typically prepare his clothes for the next day by laying them out and even ironing them for him each evening.

I knew I had to gather my own clothes, and now I’m really annoyed because I have to get up. Yes, that’s right, she… Clearly, with children around…

In response, Kelly said, “Each day requires assistance? Someone should help with that, don’t you think? Perhaps having four children wasn’t the best decision, considering she’d likely still be occupied with them now.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d rephrase that as follows: “Indeed, she has transitioned her routine to include the children. She prepares for them the night before, ensuring everyone is well-prepared.

For seventeen years now, the pair has been husband and wife, dating back to when they were childhood sweethearts at age twelve in the Croxteth suburbs of Liverpool, where they both originated.

And they first welcomed their eldest son, 16-year-old Kai, in 2009.

They went on to have three more children, completing their family of six.

In another part of the podcast, it was disclosed that David and Victoria Beckham had invited Wayne and Coleen for a dinner where they all enjoyed eating kebabs together.

He explained how he went with Frank Lampard and a couple more players, as well as his wife. 

Wayne said they about ’19 or something’ at the time.

He exclaimed: “We were all quite puzzled, wondering what was going on here.” After taking a stroll around the house, he guided us through its rooms. He’s undeniably an exceptional guy, and Victoria is truly charming. They have a great sense of humor that’s far more amusing than most would imagine.

As a devoted fanboy, let me share this fascinating tidbit: My favorite football manager once mentioned a quirky incident involving his better half, Coleen. Before he embarked on his first England squad, she had secretly painted his toenails while he was sound asleep! Quite the surprise when he woke up, I’d imagine!

In reminiscing about our rendezvous, let me share an amusing anecdote: The eve prior, I found myself nestled in Coleen’s family abode. In a state of blissful slumber on their couch, unbeknownst to me, Coleen embarked on a clandestine mission – painting my toenails! Quite the surprise it was upon waking up!

It appeared to be something transparent and shiny, with an indeterminate color, almost as if it were a translucent object of some kind.
