Wayne Rooney leaves wife Coleen in stitches as he messes up family boxing game as they play with sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass in hilarious clip

As I delve into the lives of the Rooneys, I find myself in awe of their resilience and unwavering love for each other. The bond between Wayne and Coleen is palpable; their shared experiences have only strengthened their relationship.

In a fun family boxing match, Wayne Rooney brought laughter to his wife, Coleen, by accidentally mishandling the game among their four boys.

A funny video posted online showed Wayne playing Boxbollen just prior to Coleen, aged 38, entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

Playing Boxbollen involves utilizing hand-eye coordination, where a person wears a ball on a headband and attempts to strike it as many times as possible without missing. The aim is to maintain control over the ball and ensure accurate hits.

The video on social media starts by showing the ex-footballer Wayne, aged 39, trying his hand at a game. However, he only manages seven attempts before falling over. This causes Coleen to break into laughter.

In the Rooney family, boxing is the newest venture for Kit, who’s only eight years old, but it’s Kai, their eldest son at 15, who truly excels; he outperforms both his father and brother with a remarkable score of 17.

The entire family burst into laughter as the youngest Rooney, 5-year-old Cass, rather than kicking the ball away, playfully clapped it in his hands instead.

Wayne shares that he recently took part in the Boxbollen challenge, which turned out to be a blast for him and his kids. He recommends this as an excellent holiday gift option if it’s accessible. Wishing everyone the best!

During the “Letters from Home” segment on Sunday evening’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Wayne sent a heartfelt message to his wife Coleen.

The football manager expressed that he has never felt such a strong longing for someone during his entire life, as she is currently spending several weeks in Australia and away from him.

In a heartwrenching scene, during WAG (Wives and Girlfriends of footballers) Coleen received a message from Wayne, which was then read aloud by Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough for their four children – Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass.

One of the kids mentioned: “There’s one less thing I’ll miss – you waking me up with shouts. Perhaps we can work on that aspect.” However, I am incredibly proud to refer to you as my mother.

Wayne then said: ‘Coleen, I have never missed you so much in my life.

You’re absolutely shining, showcasing the extraordinary qualities that define you as a remarkable, humble woman. I’m immensely proud of your achievements, and eagerly await seeing you again. I adore you deeply, tenfold, Wayne.

Previously on the show, Colleen delved into her heart-wrenching experiences of two miscarriages and shared the significance behind her kids’ names in an episode of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” that aired on Friday.

She explained that while none of her sons’ names start with a ‘K’, this is because the name Cassius signifies ‘blackbird’ when it starts with a ‘K’, but ‘clever’ when it begins with a ‘C’.

To honor Cassius’ mother, they decided to give him the middle name “Mac,” as her birth surname was McLoughlin, and her friends affectionately called her “Coleen Mac.

As Coleen’s middle name was Mary, this then meant Cass would have the same initials as her, CMR.

Additionally, she mentioned that Cass Mac Rooney translates to ‘witty child of Rooney,’ and this is its significance. CMR is the only link I have to the children.

Colleen confessed, “Although we have four sons, I sometimes wish we had a daughter for Wayne. But I wasn’t yearning for a girl; it wouldn’t have mattered much to him either.

She continued by sharing: “I’ve experienced two pregnancy losses, and I’m unsure if the babies were girls. Sometimes it’s suggested that one might not be able to carry a particular gender, but they only confirm this after the third loss.

Colleen shared with Oti and GK that she experienced two miscarriages prior to having her kids, the first one before welcoming either Kit or Cass into their family.

She confessed: “Initially, when I had my first child, I was quite terrified…yet, after giving birth to my first, the fear vanished, and I ended up having another one.

Knowing I was capable of conceiving and having a child offered some comfort, despite the awfulness of the situation.

Regarding Wayne, she expressed: “I empathize with the men in this predicament…It struck Wayne particularly hard at first, and I realized later that amidst all the attention focused on me, he had to carry on with his daily routine as usual. It’s quite challenging.
