Wayne Lineker has shared a handsome throwback snap from his younger years with daughter Tia.
The owner of O Beach, a 63-year-old who is Gary Lineker’s brother, has shared that he’s been sober for 115 days following a private stay in rehab.
Wayne shared an old, heartwarming photo with Tia, 27, on his Instagram Stories on Thursday.
The photo showed the actor looking young and relaxed while cuddling with his daughter on the couch.
‘@Tialineker this will always be our special pic together …love you,’ he penned on top.
Wayne also gave his fans a health update as the star continues his journey to sobriety.

I wanted to give everyone an update on my health, since it’s been a while. I know many of you are concerned and I appreciate your support.
‘I am now 115 days sober and feeling physically and mentally amazing.
After struggling with alcohol and substance abuse for three decades, I’m now very happy and at peace, and I no longer think about drinking.
This Sunday, I’m heading to Mauritius with the CHANGE organization and members of our inner circle, plus Ryan B and his e-commerce team. After that, I’ll be going to O Beach Dubai to see how I do with staying sober in potentially challenging situations and, of course, have some fun!
‘Thank you all for your continued support on my sober journey.’
Following his admission that maintaining sobriety is impossible while living in Ibiza, Wayne has decided to leave the island and step down from his club role, explaining he needs time to focus on his recovery.
He announced his departure from Ibiza in October, sharing a photo from O Beach with a message explaining that he’d decided to leave before the island’s lifestyle could pull him back in. He feels he can no longer live the way he used to in Ibiza.
Going to Ocean feels different now that I’m sober. I really thought I could handle it, but I ended up feeling down and wanting to avoid being there – either by hiding in the restaurant or leaving early. That’s not usually how I act at all.

Being the focus of so much attention while everyone’s having a great time can be challenging. Add to that the loud music, bright sunshine, performances, dancing, and the overall energetic atmosphere of the event – plus all the sights like the venue and people enjoying themselves – and it becomes really hard to concentrate.
He explained that in therapy, they discuss ‘triggers’ – things like certain places, people, or situations that could lead to temptation. For him, being around Ocean is the biggest possible trigger.
I’m optimistic that one day I’ll rediscover my passion for Ibiza, but right now, I need more time to recover – and that’s perfectly okay. That’s what healing is all about.
If you’re going through a tough time like I was, remember it’s okay to ask for help and confront your challenges. Seeking treatment was the best thing I ever did.
