20th Century Studios unveiled the first look at “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere“, their upcoming biopic. In this movie, Jeremy Allen White portrays the role of Bruce Springsteen.

Under the guidance of director Scott Cooper, this movie takes inspiration from Warren Zanes’ book and chronicles the process behind Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska”. The story revolves around a budding musician teetering on the brink of worldwide fame, who grapples with reconciling the demands of success while dealing with lingering shadows from his past.

The narrative proceeds, “The album was created using a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s bedroom in New Jersey during springtime. This recording holds significant importance as it captures a crucial period in his life and is widely regarded as one of his most lasting masterpieces—a stark, ghostly acoustic piece filled with characters who have lost hope but are still seeking reasons to hold on to their faith.

In the ensemble, White is accompanied by Jeremy Strong portraying Bruce Springsteen’s trusted advisor and manager, Jon Landau; Paul Walter Hauser in the role of guitar technician Mike Batlan; Stephen Graham as Bruce’s father, Doug; Odessa Young as love interest Faye; Gaby Hoffman as Bruce’s mother, Adele; Marc Maron as Chuck Plotkin and David Krumholtz as Columbia executive Al Teller.
