The first trailer for “Holland,” a gripping and erratic thriller featuring Nicole Kidman and Matthew Macfadyen set in Holland, is now available.
The upcoming mystery-thriller set for release on Prime Video features Nicole Kidman portraying Nancy Vandergroot, a detail-oriented teacher and housewife who maintains an idyllic life with her husband, Fred (Macfadyen), and son, Harry (Jude Hill).
In the picturesque town of Holland, Michigan, where tulips bloom abundantly, Nancy appears to be living a perfect life. However, after chats with friend Dave Delgado (played by Gael García Bernal), she starts to question whether her seemingly idyllic existence is as carefree as she had previously believed.

Gearing up for its debut on March 27th, I can’t help but get excited about the first trailer drop for this intriguing “twisted tale”. It looks like my character, Nancy, is starting to question whether the world around her, including the people in it, might not be as straightforward as they appear. Can’t wait to dive deeper into this mystery!
Besides the previously mentioned actors, the cast for the show titled “Holland” also features Rachel Sennott, Lennon Parham, Isaac Krasner, and Jeff Pope. Mimi Cave, who is known for her work on “Fresh” in 2022, will be directing this project from a screenplay written by Andrew Sodorski.
The trailer sparked enthusiastic reactions among movie enthusiasts on social media, with one individual showing eagerness on platform X by stating: “I wasn’t sure what to anticipate, but that was an impressively STRONG trailer.

1. User 2 expressed excitement about the cast alone: “I’m already hooked just by looking at the cast! I can’t wait for this movie to come out.”
2. User 3 pointed out a similarity between the film and an iconic novel, saying: “It has a very ‘The Stepford Wives’ feel to it.”
Nicole Kidman hasn’t only worked on Prime Video projects recently, as she also spearheaded Lulu Wang’s “Expats,” a six-part limited series. Additionally, the actor will make an appearance in the upcoming series “Scarpetta” where she co-stars with Jamie Lee Curtis on the streaming platform.
Holland is scheduled to be released on Prime Video on March 27.
