Watch the thrilling official trailer for Korean horror thriller Devils Stay

As a seasoned gamer and horror movie enthusiast who has survived countless nights playing Silent Hill and Resident Evil, I must say that the trailer for Devils Stay has me absolutely hooked! The suspense and chilling moments are reminiscent of my heart-stopping encounters with Pyramid Head and Nemesis.

The official trailer for Devils Stay, a gripping Korean horror thriller, recently dropped, and it’s packed with heart-racing suspense and chilling moments. You can check it out above. The film is set to be released in theaters in Korea on Nov. 14, followed by a theatrical release in the U.S. on Dec. 6 by Well Go USA.

The film titled “Devils Stay” is a chilling horror-thriller helmed by director Hyun Moon-seop, known for his work on “Nightmare Teacher”. In the movie, we see Park Shin-yang (known for his roles in “My Lawyer, Mr. Jo” and “Man on the Edge”), Lee Min-ki (“Crash” and “My Liberation Notes”), and Lee Re (“It’s Okay!”, “Castaway Diva”, and “Hellbound”) take on leading roles.

Following the unexpected and heart-wrenching death of his daughter after an exorcism, a renowned heart surgeon struggles to accept her demise, disregarding the findings from medical experts and the priest who performed the ritual. Yet, during the funeral service, attendees start noticing strange alterations in the girl’s corpse, causing the priest to ponder whether a more sinister entity might be lurking once more among them all.

As a passionate fan, I’m excited to share that Park Shin-yang takes on the role of Seung-do, a father and heart specialist, in this spine-chilling exorcism film. His character is driven by hope, believing his daughter, played by Lee Re as So-mi, may still be alive. The intriguing twist comes with Lee Min-ki’s portrayal of Ban, the priest who conducted So-mi’s exorcism.

Following the chilling experience of “Devils Stay”, here are some other top-notch Korean horror movies you might enjoy: “The Wailing”, “Exhume”, “I Saw the Devil”, “The Host”, and “A Tale of Two Sisters”.
