2025’s State of Play event begins on February 12 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time, equivalent to 5:00 PM Eastern Time and 11:00 PM Central European Time. The event will be streamed in both English and Japanese for those who are interested. Additionally, the entire broadcast is scheduled to last more than 40 minutes.

PlayStation State of Play February 2025 announcements
Regarding future offerings, Sony’s Content Communications Manager, Tim Turi, mentioned that the stream includes “announcements and updates about fantastic games” destined for the PlayStation 5. The stream also showcases a diverse and original collection of captivating games developed by studios worldwide.
During the announcement, Turi additionally shared crucial points for individuals planning to concurrently stream the event or save it for later viewing through Video-on-Demand (VOD). He clarified that the transmission could potentially feature copyrighted materials like licensed songs, which PlayStation has no authority over.
Consequently, although PlayStation encourages and welcomes co-streamers and content creators, restrictions from licensing agreements may impact the availability of co-streams or video on demand (VOD) archives.
