The highly anticipated action comedy featuring Idris Elba and John Cena, titled “Leaders of Nation,” has unveiled its initial preview.

In this movie on Amazon Prime Video, skillfully directed by Ilya Naishuller, we find a captivating portrayal of a duo – one playing the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and the other embodying the President of the United States. The plot unfolds as they put aside their longstanding rivalry to join forces in an attempt to save our world from impending doom.

The video opens with the duo encountering each other while getting ready for a shared address to the global audience. However, instead of a friendly greeting, their interaction swiftly escalates into an argument. Given their contrasting characters, traveling together on the same flight seems like an undesirable proposition for both parties.

Regrettably, the duo must press forward and maintain stoic expressions while traversing the globe. However, their obligatory amiability is abruptly halted following an airborne assault on their jet. From that moment, it’s a matter of shoot-out as they battle for their lives.

UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke and U.S. President Will Derringer are engaged in a contentious, open feud which poses a threat to the unique bond between their nations, often referred to as the ‘special relationship.’

However, when they find themselves in the crosshairs of a formidable and merciless enemy from another country – an adversary that outmaneuvers their own security teams – they reluctantly turn to the only individuals they can depend on: one another.

In the end, our protagonists will team up with the smart MI6 operative Noel Bisset, portrayed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Together, they’ll need to escape and collaborate for a sufficient time to foil a dangerous worldwide plot that could put the entire free world in jeopardy.

Apart from Cena, Elba, and Chopra Jonas, the star-studded cast of Heads of State also features Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles. Naishuller is directing this production, with a screenplay penned by Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, and Harrison Query.

Heads of State will be released on Prime Video on 2 July.
