Andrew Garfield has a wild new true story TV series on the way that you will want to watch out for.
Back in the recent past, I got wind that a show titled “Wild Things” is slated to stream on Apple TV+. This intriguing series delves into the captivating lives of Siegfried & Roy, the renowned magicians who were known for integrating tigers and lions in their mesmerizing performances.
In the upcoming television series, Garfield is set to portray Roy, also known as Uwe Ludwig Horn, alongside Jude Law’s character Siegfried (or Siegfried Tyron Fischbacher) from “Skeleton Crew.
Back in 2022, I stumbled upon this captivating podcast titled “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy.” Fast forward to now, I’m totally hooked on the limited series adaptation that’s unfolding episode by episode!
The original audio series examines the pair, known for their immense fame. However, many aspects of their personal lives, their peculiar public personas, and their heartbreaking final performance were wrapped in secrecy and enigma.

As a devoted listener, I’d say this podcast pulls back the stage curtain to unveil breathtaking revelations, fascinating insights, and concealed truths about two men who were idolized by countless fans, skewered by the press, criticized by animal rights activists, and under constant public scrutiny.
The careers of Siegfried & Roy came to an end following a tragic incident at their Las Vegas show in 2003. During that performance, Roy was badly bitten by a tiger, and he subsequently experienced a stroke. As a result, the show was discontinued.
2020 saw the demise of Horn following a battle with COVID-19, whereas Fischbacher succumbed to pancreatic cancer in the year that followed.
The TV show titled “Wild Things” is being developed by Imagine Entertainment, a production company that previously brought us the true crime series “Under the Banner of Heaven,” and has also contributed to hit shows like “Empire” and “Genius: Aretha.
In a new project, it’s John Hoffman, co-creator of “Only Murders in the Building,” who steps up as writer, overseer, and executive producer. Matt Shakman from “WandaVision” will direct the pilot episode and also serve as an executive producer. Garfield and Law are additionally involved as executive producers too.
Malnati and Leckart, the creators of the initial podcast, will collaborate with Brian Grazer (known for “A Beautiful Mind”), Kristen Zolner (“Big Mouth”), Natalie Berkus (“The ‘Burbs”), Tony Leondis (“The Emoji Movie”) and Kathy Ciric (“The Romanoffs”) as executive producers.

What is Wild Things about?
The story “Wild Things” follows the thrilling journey of two remarkable magicians and their white tigers as they are assigned to transform a notorious city into an enjoyable and family-oriented location.
The pair explore the boundaries between deception and truth, both on a personal and professional level, until a tragic event redefines and presents an enigma related to their final performance in Las Vegas. This summary implies.
When will Wild Things be released?
As a game enthusiast, I’m eagerly waiting for news about the release of our favorite series. Although the cameras will start rolling this fall, it’s still unclear when exactly it will be out. At best, we might get to see it premier in 2026. Fingers crossed!
Wild Things will stream on Apple TV+.
