Fatshark has revealed that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is due to receive a complimentary update towards the end of this month. This update, titled ‘Nightmares & Visions’, will introduce a fresh in-game activity, enhancements, and new obstacles for the game’s Havoc endgame mode. The update will also incorporate balance adjustments and a brief, special event that will be available for a limited time.
The game Nightmares & Visions presents the Mortis Trials, where you battle hordes of adversaries summoned by the ship’s Psyker-generated visions. As you dive into the Swfoni’s dreams, you’ll receive temporary powers and enhancements for the trial ahead. Successfully completing the Mortis Trials will reward you with hidden knowledge about the Mourningstar’s denizens.
In this update, Havoc mode is set to receive a facelift, featuring enhancements and fresh, difficult trials created by four new mutators. These challenges are designed to test even the most hardened operative’s determination. Simultaneously, a time-limited event will take place in the Mortis Trials, and the Ogryn class will see an overhaul in their Talent Tree.
The supernatural experiences of Nightmares & Visions are set to arrive in the game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on 25th March, available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computer systems.
