Warframe: 1999 Update Finally Gets a December Release Window

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a twinge of nostalgia at the prospect of Warframe: 1999. The thought of battling Scaldra through the grungy streets of Hӧllvania, all while rocking out to some 90s boy band-style music, is almost too good to be true.

Developer Digital Extremes has announced that the game Warframe: 1999 is scheduled for release in December, with the specific date of release still undisclosed.

In this upcoming major update for the game, players will encounter a retro Narrative Chapter, showcasing six Protoframes and a swift ‘Atomicycle’ for travel. The setting is a gritty, alternate reality from the named year, on the brink of the new millennium in an “alternate world” environment.

The studio has announced that our most significant update from the 20th century, Warframe: 1999, is set to release in December across all platforms! Dive into Arthur’s Arsenal and super-powered Motorcycle as you engage Scaldra in combat through the streets of Hölkvania. We can hardly wait for December to arrive!

In December, expect the release of Warframe: 1999, featuring an exciting 90’s themed shopping mall as its central hub, accompanied by music reminiscent of 90’s boy bands courtesy of On-lyne. This update also presents opportunities to forge new friendships or romantic connections, introduces the new Cyte-09 Warframe, and offers additional surprises.
