Warframe: 1999 ‘Techrot Encore’ Update Coming in March With New Boss Battles

Digital Extremes has announced that the upcoming update for Warframe, titled ‘Techrot Encore‘, will be rolled out in March. This marks the beginning of a year filled with fresh content for the game. Expect an expanded map, a brand-new Ancestor character, and a new Fable story quest as part of these updates.

Techrot Encore is going to present the next addition to the Lich adversary system and Technocyte Coda boy band boss battles, where you’ll engage in “music-infused confrontations” against replicated enemies similar to On-Lyne. Overcoming these foes will grant you access to one of thirteen fresh Infested weaponry.

In addition to introducing the 60th Warframe called Temple, this update will include four fresh Protoframes, enhancements for the Romance & Relationship system, and an original music track reminiscent of the ’90s. Also featured are new hairstyles from the 90’s era, Scaldra-themed cosmetics for the Drifter, and four Scaldra weapons: pistol, sickle, rifle, and grenade launcher. To top it off, a Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin is included as well.

Techrot Encore is due in March, and prior to that we’ll get some fresh content. This starts from the 6th of February until the 3rd of March with Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast and the Rhino Heirloom cosmetic skin being added, along with Lavos Prime and two new Prime weapons on the 12th of February. Additionally, the tenth anniversary of TennoCon will be held on the 18th-19th of July, and ticket sales for this event will go live on the 7th of February.
