As a longtime Warcraft fanatic who can still remember the thrill of battling my friends on the original World of Warcraft, the announcement that Warcraft Rumble is coming to PC has me absolutely pumped! I’ve been following this game since its mobile debut last year and have been eagerly awaiting the chance to take my Mini army to the next level.
The highly anticipated strategy game, Warcraft Rumble, developed by Blizzard Entertainment, is set to launch its open beta for PC users on December 10th, 2024. This follows its successful debut on mobile platforms last year.
Warcraft Rumble PC open beta can be accessed via the BattleNet platform
Warcraft Rumble, formerly recognized as Warcraft Arclight Rumble, is an adrenaline-pumping mobile strategy game nestled within the universe of Warcraft. In this game, collectible Miniatures spring to life for thrilling close combat fights. The testing phase commenced in select regions back in August 2023, followed by pre-registrations and a scheduled mobile release in November of the same year.

You control an army of Minis to defeat enemies, face off against well-known Warcraft heroes like Jaina Proudmoore and Grommash Hellscream, and battle across familiar and new locations in Azeroth. With over 60 Warcraft Minis to collect, you can build armies from five unique families: Alliance, Horde, Beast, Undead, and Blackrock.
In this game, the gameplay is both tactical and swift, ensuring that each Mini’s special skill plays a crucial role in every fight. You’ll have access to spells such as Blizzard and Chain Lightning, while also taking advantage of enemies’ vulnerabilities and preparing your team for various adversaries. Each Mini possesses unique abilities that can be enhanced, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game. Plus, with PvP battles brimming with rapid action, you’ll experience a satisfying pace of progression.

That said, PC players can get a taste of this game soon. From the trailer, I’m guessing cross-progression is possible between the accounts, and hence you don’t worry about your progression. If you are interested in playing on PC, you can access the game via BattleNet, Blizzard’s one-stop-shop on the 10th of December, 2024.
