Warcraft of Warcraft heads to PAX East 2025 for 20-year anniversary!
The World of Warcraft panel at PAX East 2025 will go into Azeroth’s past, present, and future.
As PAX East 2025 approaches, Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed their attendance to honor the 20-year milestone of World of Warcraft. Moreover, this occasion signifies the 30th year of Warcraft and more than a decade of Hearthstone!
World of Warcraft at PAX East 2025
Blizzard Entertainment is set to visit Boston, MA soon, specifically on May 9th, 2025, as per the official schedule for PAX East 2025. During this day, between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., local time, a special panel will take place in the main theater of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. This panel will be led by World of Warcraft community manager, Bethany Stout, who will discuss the journey that has shaped Azeroth over the last 20 years.
During this session, game directors Jeremy Feasel, Paul Kubit, Maria Hamilton (associate design director), and Jesse Kurlancheek (principal game designer) plan to guide participants on an exploration of Azeroth’s history, present, and future. In all likelihood, they will discuss the upcoming WoW housing feature that is scheduled for release in World of Warcraft: Midnight.

Mark your calendars for May 10th at 7 p.m., as the Warcraft 30 World Tour event will be taking place in Boston, conveniently coinciding with the PAX East weekend. The celebratory event will take place at the Royale Boston venue, a short 13-minute drive from the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
For the evening’s program, you can anticipate live performances, chances to mingle with the creators of Warcraft, and additional activities as well.
Last month at Toronto’s anniversary celebration, participants indulged in Horde and Alliance-themed beverages and cuisine, marveled at cosplayers portraying Dragon Aspects, and signed a large traveling autograph book. Consequently, it seems plausible that the Warcraft 30 World Tour in Boston might provide a similar experience.
