Walton Goggins Opens Up About Marriage Struggles and Co-Star Feud Rumors!
In a recent discussion, actor Walton Goggins revealed that he and his co-star-wife, Nadia Connors, encountered some differences of opinion during their collaboration on the movie “The Uninvited.
54-year-old Nadia launched her directing career last year with a comedy-drama film, featuring Walton, Pedro Pascal, and Elizabeth Reaser in leading roles.
In the initial stages, it proved challenging for Walton, age 53, to work alongside his spouse, as they both adjusted to their unique work methods.
He shared with Radio Times, “The initial transition was quite challenging for a few days! You see, we’re both born under the zodiac sign of Scorpio. Being Scorpios, we are self-reliant individuals who hold strong and distinct views on various matters.
In our collaboration, she served as the director, and I followed her lead similarly to how I adhere to other directors’ instructions. However, when it came to points I opposed, I had to express my disagreement to ensure my narrative was accurate. Fortunately, we established a workable pace, and eventually, we managed to separate our professional disagreements from any personal feelings.
In the movie, Walton’s character hosts a glamorous Hollywood bash where tensions escalate when an old woman unexpectedly attends (Lois Smith), asserting that she resides in the same place.

When asked about living the high-life of Hollywood, Walton replied: ‘I’m not calculating or manipulative regarding socializing. I don’t attend parties seeking favors from others. For me, every encounter is genuine and not based on any expected return.’
If someone asks me whether I’d rather attend a Hollywood party or a gathering at home with Hollywood attendees, I’d choose the latter option.
Nadia and I have been hosting gatherings for quite some time now, and I truly enjoy interacting with small groups of around 20-25 individuals in the comfort of our home. It’s a wonderful way to unwind during the evenings. As for my personality, I can be characterized as an extroverted introvert.
For years, Nadia and I have been organizing parties at home, and there’s nothing quite like connecting with 20-25 people in a relaxed setting. Spending the evening this way is a delight. And if I had to define my personality type, I would say that I am an extroverted introvert.
Was additionally queried regarding his thoughts on embodying the title of a sex symbol, following the widespread acclaim garnered by his portrayal of Rick in The White Lotus.
He expressed: “I’ve been here for quite some time. I lead my life in a manner that I find appealing in others. If this is what makes others find me appealing, then I fully support it. Absolutely!
Following the reports, it appears that Walton and Aimee Lou Wood, who starred together on The White Lotus, may have put an end to their rumored disagreement after several months of uncertainty.
In the most recent season of HBO’s show, the actors enacted doomed sweethearts Rick and Chelsea. Tragically, their fictional counterparts met their demise in the climactic finale.
It seems there might have been some issues developing between Walton and Aimee, since it looks like they stopped following each other on Instagram last month.

Some fans thought it possible that Walton might have hidden or removed Aimee’s interactions on his previous posts, leading them to suspect he had blocked her.
Now, it appears they have resumed following one another, a move that might make White Lotus enthusiasts think they may have resolved their disputes.
Over the past month, there was much chatter among fans suggesting that he may have blocked her, as gossip persisted regarding their possible altercation or incident.
Her interactions (comments and likes) on his old posts are no longer present, but Walton’s comments on Aimee’s posts remain visible.
On Instagram, if you block someone, their comments and likes will automatically be hidden from your posts.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, let me share some insights about managing your digital connections: Whenever you decide to hide someone’s presence on your feed, their likes and appearances in your photos and videos will vanish. However, it is essential to note that when you choose to unblock them, their past interactions such as likes and comments won’t magically reappear.
During the third season, Aimee Lou, a popular figure on Instagram with over 2.6 million followers, has enthusiastically posted backstage snaps and regrams from her fellow cast members. Similarly, Walton has shared personal anecdotes from the set as well.
In their social media updates, they’ve both excitedly tagged their fellow actors – except for each other.

They are both still following all the other cast members from the show.
In a notable turn of events, Walton interrupted an interview on three separate occasions when queried about the rumored disagreement between them.
During his conversation with The Times’ Ed Porton, he declined to discuss matters related to Aimee, which caused the discussion to veer away from its intended course when he tried to address his fellow cast member.
Initially, when questioned regarding his relationship with Amy, Walton appeared serious and stated, “I prefer not to discuss that topic.
I’ll pass on that destination for now, appreciate your understanding,” I expressed, as another professional in the room steered the discussion forward.
Ed inquired again about their friendship by asking if Aimee would attend the upcoming Saturday Night Live event hosted by Walton next week. He wondered if perhaps a reconciliation or improvement in their relationship might be on the horizon.
However, Walton remained silent, leading his representative to propose discussing his forthcoming film, The Uninvited instead.
Ed continued to bring up the topic of Aimee, but Walton firmly stated, “Let’s not discuss that. Discussing politics online feels like talking into an empty room.

In a last ditch effort, he tried to praise his fellow actor, but Walton responded sharply: “What in the world, Ed! C’mon pal. Incredible,” and his representatives quickly concluded the interview.
Reports of the conflict between Walton and Aimee escalated when Amy shed tears following an allegedly harsh and unamusing SNL comedy sketch on a Saturday night.
Last month, during one captivating episode, I couldn’t help but notice the hilarious use of oversized prop teeth on Amy’s grin. Unbelievably, even Walton found himself amused, sharing an online video of it!
In response to the video posted by SNL on their social media, Walton chuckled and wrote, “Hahahahahhahaha Amazzzingggg,” leaving it uncertain whether he was commenting on the overall sketch or specifically the segment that made fun of Amy.
It comes amid reports the two are expected to reunite soon for a professional obligation.
Entertainment journalist Elizabeth Wagmeister mentioned on The Viall Files podcast that she found out ‘confidentially’ they will be working together on a project in the near future.
If there truly is a disagreement between them, it hasn’t prevented them from… They seem capable of sharing the same space, Wagmeister implied, suggesting that their supposed rift may not be as intense as some other reported celebrity feuds, such as the one rumored to exist between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
During the shooting process, Walton and Aimee kept pace with one another, frequently exchanging comments on their respective social media posts, even incorporating a fox emoticon in some instances. This has sparked fan discussions about the potential significance or reference of these interactions.

In July 2024, Aimee shared a breathtaking selfie, and Walton commented, “You’re a fox – beautiful both inside and out.” (Using the emoji for a fox instead of the word)
In another post, he commented: “You shine brighter than anyone else in any room. You’re genuinely human. I miss you, with a pair of fox emoticons.
On another post, he wrote: ‘Next level this is. I could watch you all day. So excited to watch.’
People have suggested that the fox emoji, which Aimee Lou used in her now deleted comments on Walton’s posts, might be a secret code or inside joke shared by the two of them, containing some concealed significance.
The fox symbol is frequently employed to signify someone who has acted cunningly or intelligently, or to imply that a person possesses charm and attractiveness. In other words, it can be used to denote slyness, cleverness, or allure.
In a HBO Max interview featuring Aimee Lou and Walton, they were asked to imagine their future lives as different animals. Interestingly, both chose the fox, stating that this animal embodies their true selves.
Later on, during the debut of The White Lotus in February, Aimee Lou playfully carried on an inside joke by donning a bespoke Burberry dress adorned with a fox pattern.
Multiple rumor-based websites online have shared supposed stories involving this specific couple, sparking discussions about a possible rift between them.
Currently, Reddit, TikTok, and X platforms are buzzing with discussions centered around speculations as to why this duo might have experienced a private disagreement or conflict.
One user shared on Reddit: ‘I feel like no one is talking about the falling out of them?

It seems they stopped following each other on Instagram about two weeks back. Since then, Walton has been sharing a lot of content related to ‘White Lotus’, tagging everyone except Aimee Lou Wood. He even posted a heartfelt tribute for the show, yet failed to include her in it. Interestingly, he’s shared numerous images of her on his story as part of this commemorative tribute to the series. So, one might wonder if there’s some sort of rift between them.
One user marveled: ‘It’s astonishing that Aimee Lou Wood follows 5,160 individuals on Instagram, yet none of them appear to be Walton Goggins…’
On X, one viewer weighed in on an album of behind-the-scenes photos Walton had posted to Instagram.
‘Walton Goggins not tagging Aimee but tagging everyone else… WHAT HAPPENED,’ they wrote.
Specifically puzzling for certain followers was that Walton seemed to upload heartwarming and detailed photos of him with Aimee on his Instagram Stories, accompanied by a well-known breakup tune.
One user expressed amazement, saying they were captivated by Walton Goggins’ 18-slide Instagram story featuring pictures of himself and Aimee Lou Wood, accompanied by the song ‘Silver Springs’ by Fleetwood Mac.
Ever since 2001, I’ve been blessed to call Nadia my wife, and we’re overjoyed to be the proud parents of our incredible 14-year-old son, Augustus. In my eyes, there’s no greater joy than being a part of this extraordinary family unit.
During the shooting of the movie, the actor’s relatives traveled to Thailand and appeared alongside him and the other actors in a photograph taken on the beach.
Although Walton and Aimee haven’t publicly discussed any conflicts in their behind-the-scenes relationship, other cast members have suggested tension during the seven-month filming period in Thailand.
Jason Isaacs, known for his role as the troubled family patriarch Tim Ratliff, has been particularly vocal about his experiences on the set of White Lotus, describing it as a blend of summer camp and “Lord of the Flies” (a novel depicting a group of boys descending into savagery), but all within the confines of a luxurious enclosure.
He mentioned to Vulture that some relationships deepened, while others ended, creating both new friendships and lost ones. Just like how the series suggests that events in Thailand remain confidential, there’s also an unscripted ‘White Lotus’ happening off-screen, filled with less fatalities but just as much intrigue and drama.
In a discreet manner, I found myself growing particularly connected with certain individuals, while distancing from others. Yet, we all shared this unique journey, and maintaining confidentiality seems essential.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, the British actor clarified that the filming process wasn’t solely a joyful experience.
It’s clear that individuals developed friendships among themselves, yet we weren’t a harmonious, united group like one big happy family. Instead, we were a diverse gathering of people, disconnected from our usual lives and routines, essentially vacationing together. I won’t be the one to disclose specific actions or incidents, but it’s safe to say that this wasn’t your typical holiday getaway.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but echo Aimee Lou’s own words when she described the filming environment as feeling like a suffocating, claustrophobic space. It’s almost as if we were all unwitting participants in a real-life Truman Show social experiment!
The British actress confessed that the emotional depth came from not having much space between portraying Chelsea and stopping after filming her scenes.
In typical circumstances, after wrapping up work, you head home. However, in this situation, once you wrap up, take five steps into your room which happens to be where you’re filming. It resembles the Truman Show, causing one to ponder if anything is genuine. Everything seems artificial and staged, she remarked.
She went on to say: “I can see why the shows from the last two seasons are so impressive. The boundaries become quite unclear, and things can feel rather confining, which makes it crucial for everyone to lean on each other to maintain sanity. It’s a bit like Big Brother, but with all these famous actors – it’s quite an unusual feeling.
During the filming process, Aimee Lou developed strong bonds with several cast members, particularly Leslie Bibb. They became very close, sharing a room together and traveling together during filming breaks.
While she strived for some social interaction amidst her busy filming routine, Walton opted for a more meticulous approach during the shoot.
On the companion podcast for the TV series, the actor explained that he chose to remain secluded on set, partly due to the nature of his character.
Working alongside 18 individuals daily, while occupying a shared space filled with eighteen distinctly emotional seats, proved to be quite challenging… Usually, my seat stands alone.
‘On my own, I often spend time and pursue my personal activities. However, I found myself unable to be with them. They didn’t grasp why I was present. This individual appears isolated… Being apart from the group like that wasn’t enjoyable, you understand, it was quite difficult. It was a truly challenging experience.’

On their day off, Walton shared that Aimee preferred not to join in when he was in a less positive mood, opting instead to spend time with the younger members of the cast rather than him during non-filming times.
In the same vessel, I found myself filled with apprehension as we set sail. You see, I’ve always struggled in confined spaces due to my inherent claustrophobia, and it turns out that Rick shares the same predicament.
‘Therefore, I chose to spend the night right on the ship’s bow. The scene was breathtaking, and I intentionally emanated a lot of negative vibes, which made others keep their distance.’
In a moment, dear Aimee, in the kindest way possible, I whispered, “You know what? You seem more focused on work than enjoying life. I find myself drawn to those who live it up, like Patrick and our other companions.” And honestly, hearing that from you was a divine blessing, as it mirrors my own desires for your experience with us.
