Walton Goggins Explodes in Interview Over Aimee Lou Wood Feud

In a striking turn of events, Walton Goggins interrupted an interview on four occasions when queried regarding the rumored conflict between him and his White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood, causing quite a stir.

Actor, aged 53, and actress, aged 31, portrayed a romantic pair in the popular HBO Max series. However, rumors of a dispute between them have arisen, as viewers observed that they no longer follow one another on Instagram.

During an interview with Ed Porton from The Times, he chose to divert discussions about Aimee, a topic that seemed sensitive for him. This conversation took an unexpected turn when Ed tried to address his co-star, leading some to say the discussion veered off course.

Back when initially queried regarding my connection with Amy, I found myself adopting a rather firm stance, responding curtly: “I’d prefer not to delve into that topic.

One publicist politely said, “We won’t be going there,” during the interview, while another changed the topic of discussion.

Last night, I couldn’t help but wonder if our friendship might take a step forward, as I inquired if dear Aimee would join us when Walton takes the stage on Saturday Night Live next week. Could it be that a reconciliation is on the horizon?

Nevertheless, Walton remained unresponsive, causing his representative to interject, proposing a discussion on his forthcoming film, The Uninvited instead.

Ed continued to bring up the topic of Aimee, but Walton firmly replied, “Let’s not discuss that matter. Discussing politics online feels like talking into an empty space.

In a last ditch effort, he tried to praise his fellow actor, but Walton retorted sharply with, “What in the world, Ed! Let’s go, buddy. Incredible,” and his representatives quickly concluded the interview.

The conflict between Walton and Aimee appeared to escalate further following an SNL sketch that Amy found harsh and unamusing, leaving her in tears.

In the broadcast that took place a month ago, Amy’s grin was imitated using over-sized false teeth, and it was noticed that Walton appreciated a video of this online.

Responding to the SNL video posted on their social media, Walton laughed it off by saying, “Hahahahahhahaha Amazzzingggg.” However, it’s not clear whether his laughter encompassed the entire sketch or if it was specifically directed towards the segment poking fun at Amy.

In the comedy sketch called “The White POTUS,” Saturday Night Live creatively portrayed the Trump family and other political figures in a getaway reminiscent of the TV series “White Lotus.

In a different phrasing, the character Rick, as depicted by Walton, was presented with the likeness of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., passionately advocating for the removal of fluoride from the water supply.

Next, the scene shifted to Chelsea, portrayed by Sarah Sherman as Aimee’s character, with overly prominent false teeth. She inquired in a curious manner, “What’s this thing called Fluoride?

Aimee didn’t hold back in her response as she slammed  the segment for being lazy and cruel. 

She said: ‘Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple weeks ago. 

Absolutely, the performance undoubtedly involves humor, which is a key aspect. However, could we find a more intelligent, subtler, and less crass approach?

She added that she’d received ‘thousands’ of supportive messages from fans and her sister Emily. 

She wrote, “I don’t easily get offended. In fact, I enjoy good-natured teasing, but the humor fell flat when it came to the topic of fluoride. Despite having noticeable gaps in my teeth, I don’t have poor dental health.

I have no issues with the caricature, as I know that’s what SNL is about. However, the remainder of the sketch seemed to be mocking those in power (punching up). Unfortunately, it was only Chelsea who was targeted (being punched down on)… That concludes my thoughts.

She concluded her remark by re-sharing a comment from a fan that read, “The sketch was clever and amusing until it abruptly transformed into 1970’s sexism,” which Aimee agreed with by saying, “That perfectly captures my opinion.

Later on, Aimee appeared to extend an olive branch as she posted a fan artwork depicting herself and Walton as their characters from ‘The White Lotus’, implying that any prior strife might now be resolved.

The artwork was posted to her Instagram Stories with no caption — but it spoke volumes.

The post came amid reports the two are expected to reunite soon for a professional obligation. 

Entertainment journalist Elizabeth Wagmeister revealed during The Viall Files podcast that she discovered, confidentially, they plan to collaborate on a professional project within the upcoming weeks.

If there truly is a conflict between them, it seems that it hasn’t prevented them from… They appear to be able to share the same space, according to Wagmeister, implying that their supposed disagreement might not be as intense as other reported co-star disputes, such as the one between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

In an unexpected development, it came to light that Aimee had received a heartfelt apology from SNL cast member Sarah Sherman – just a few days following an instance where Aimee was spotted crying in London.

Sharing a lovely flower picture on her Instagram Story, Aimee wrote, ‘Thanks for the stunning blooms.’

She didn’t have a problem with Sarah, but with the performance or content of the sketch.)
