Walton Goggins has become increasingly well-known lately, starring in the popular Prime Video series Fallout and appearing as a significant character in Season 3 of The White Lotus.
When Fallout came back for its second season, Walton Goggins had a pleasant surprise: a reunion with a former co-star. In Episode 3, Jon Gries, who appeared with Goggins in HBO’s The White Lotus, made a guest appearance. Goggins described the reunion as feeling “like family.”
In Season 2, Episode 3 of Fallout, titled “The Profligate,” actor Moisés Arias debuted as Biff, a soldier with the New California Republic (NCR). While traveling to the Legion’s camp to find Lucy, The Ghoul, played by Walton Goggins, encountered Biff.
Goggins described reuniting with Jon as seeing a close friend. He explained that working with people like Mike White, or anyone new on a film or TV set, quickly feels like connecting with family.
You know, it was really special working with Jon on that project. We’d actually been friends for ages before that, so it was just great to see him thriving and be a part of it all.
In Season 3 of The White Lotus, Stephen Goggins played Rick, a guest haunted by his past. Rick’s partner, Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood), quickly formed a connection with Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon), who was seeing Gary (Gries). This led to an awkward double date, and Rick and Gary didn’t hit it off.
Gries returned for another season of The White Lotus, having previously appeared as Greg in Season 2. As Greg, he married the wealthy Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) and seemingly arranged for her death.
I’ve been thinking a lot about The Ghoul in Fallout Season 2, and what actor Giancarlo Esposito told me really stuck with me. He sees The Ghoul as a true loner, motivated by a simple desire: to reconnect with his family. But unlike the other groups we see trying to rebuild civilization, each with their own vision, The Ghoul’s journey feels deeply personal. It’s a compelling point – everyone’s got their own way of trying to pick up the pieces after the bombs fall, and The Ghoul’s just happens to be a bit…different.
After a disaster, people often create new political groups and form new alliances, and then they attempt to rebuild things according to their own vision.
The White Lotus Started Checking In Its First Season 4 Guests
The popular HBO series is confirmed to return for a fourth season. This time, the story will move from Thailand to France. While the show has revealed its initial cast of guest stars, details about their characters and the new season’s storyline remain under wraps.
Rumors have been circulating that a significant character will return for the next season. While HBO hasn’t officially confirmed anything, this would follow the recent casting of Walton Goggins, who appeared as Timothy Ratliff in Season 3. Although Rick, played by Walton Goggins, is unlikely to reappear due to his character’s death, fans might see Greg return at some point.
