Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood reveal never-before-seen White Lotus sex scene as they quash feud rumors

During a peculiar interview, they revealed a fascinating detail that directly tackled the escalating speculations about their disagreement. This dispute had reached its peak when they both stopped following each other on Instagram.

After several months of intense conjecture about potential tension between the co-stars of The White Lotus, Goggins, at 53 years old, became visibly emotional in expressing that their relationship was actually harmonious.

He emphasized that there is no conflict between us; instead, I have an intense affection for this woman, and she holds great significance in my life, as we shared during our joint interview for Variety’s Actors on Actors series.

During a later exchange, the duo unveiled the passionate dynamic between their characters, featuring one intriguing scene that didn’t get broadcasted.

In the edited scene, it appears that the characters ran into each other at the beach, later retreated to their shared room for a heart-to-heart discussion about their relationship status, and subsequently expressed their feelings physically.

In this production, we carefully crafted every aspect of the storyline, including the initial romantic tension between Chelsea and Rick in the opening scene, which later transformed into Rick showing affection for Chelsea in the finale. The entire process was incredibly intricate and subtle, as described by Wood.

In contrast to the initial scene, Goggins described the second scene as conveying a feeling of freedom for the two individuals, implying a strong connection between them in the first scene.

In this instance, a pause filled with intensity stretched between these two individuals, as they gazed into one another’s eyes. The Hateful Eight actor emphasized its immense power.

Showcasing his playful wit, Goggins playfully said to the creator of The White Lotus, Mike White: “Hey, Mike! The audience is asking for an extended version – a director’s cut!

In 2011, Goggins wed Nadia Conners, and since then, he has frequently expressed admiration for Wood, stating: “Goldie Hawn, Meg Ryan – she’s just like them. She can accomplish anything, and she definitely will.

He shared his thoughts about the next two decades of her life, envisioning himself on a Greek island. However, there’s no animosity between them. Instead, she embodies affection, and he is certain of his love for her. Their connection runs deep.

Wood went on to clarify the misunderstanding caused by rumors that spread among fans when Goggins stopped following her on social media platforms, leading people to believe there was tension between them.

Wood expressed a desire for more discussions about the tales of his White Lotus characters, Rick and Chelsea, and for everyone to just appreciate the series as a whole.

In the face of speculation, Wood admitted that she initially considered setting the record straight, but hesitated due to concerns that her message might be misconstrued.

She explained that eventually, she chose to observe as these individuals transformed seemingly nothing into something, without intervening herself.

Goggins interjected, adding, “To clarify, let me settle this matter. Following or not following, I am a mature individual.

The star went on to confess that he has historically struggled with goodbyes. 

For instance, Goggins reminisced about embracing his ex-costar from Justified, Tim Olyphant, and saying: “I care deeply for you, and I wish to share more scenes with you for as long as I live.

He confessed that he hadn’t spoken to him for nearly two years, and he’s done the same thing – avoided communication – with everything else in his life as well.

Afterward, Goggins asserted that if he had been keeping tabs on Olyphant or his The Shield colleague Michael Chiklis, he too would have chosen to stop following them.

Seeing the humor in the situation, Goggins declared: ‘You know what? I’ll follow you right now!’ 

He joked, finding the situation absurd. It’s like him expressing his farewell to the character he played, which means that now Aimee and he will remain friends forever with a strong bond.

In response, Wood gave him a hug and says: ‘I completely understand.’ 

He expresses his deep affection for her, then chokes up as he admits that it’s overwhelming for him since they’ve never had a chance to discuss these feelings face-to-face, as they’ve lived apart.

He finishes off by saying, ‘I hope I’ve addressed everyone’s queries.’ After that, he poses another question, ‘Is there anything else? Shall we discuss astrology instead?’

Filming The White Lotus in Thailand for seven months proved to be an unusually challenging ordeal for him.

After the tragic passing of his first wife, Leanne Goggins, due to suicide in 2004, Goggins sought tranquility by exploring different places.

This led him to Thailand, then to Bangkok, in the same location as The White Lotus.

In this encounter, Goggins shared that his feelings of farewell towards Rick and Chelsea were unique compared to others, due to his personal history in the same location. He was aware of our shared past and the strong bond we had forged, which made it difficult for him to let go. This is why he felt compelled to start coming to terms with their departure, as expressed through his tears.

He added: ‘I realized it would take some time for me, so I informed her of my situation, explaining that I had certain tasks at hand. She proved to be incredibly understanding and supportive about it.’

He expressed that he felt the need to distance himself from everyone, as he hadn’t spoken to anyone. The intensity of the situation was such that he found it unbearable. Whether or not he was judged, it didn’t matter to him. This is simply his personal journey. Rick and Chelsea are incredibly important to him.

On the recent season of HBO’s series, Goggins and Wood played out the tragic romance between characters Rick and Chelsea, where sadly, both met their untimely end in the climactic finale.
