Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood have put rumors of their disagreement to rest following a period where speculation peaked due to both of them removing each other from their Instagram followers list.

After several months of rumors swirling about potential tension between the co-stars of The White Lotus, the 53-year-old actor became visibly emotional when he emphatically stated that their relationship was actually harmonious.

He firmly stated during the shared interview for Variety’s Actors on Actors program that there is no disagreement between them. Instead, he deeply cherishes and loves this woman passionately, and she holds immense significance in his life.

The individual who is a parent to one child, who has been wedded to Nadia Conners since 2011, subsequently expressed admiration for Woods, exclaiming enthusiastically: “This is Goldie Hawn! This is Meg Ryan! She can accomplish anything, and she will!

He shared his thoughts about the next two decades of her life, envisioning himself on a Greek island. Yet, he emphasized that she was unique, without any animosity. She embodies love, and he is certain of his own love for her. Their feelings for each other run very deep.

Later, Wood chose to clarify the confusion caused by speculations about their friendship status following headlines suggesting that Goggins had stopped following her on social media, an action some fans interpreted as evidence of discord between them.

In light of the current cultural climate, I find it quite telling when people become so fixated on Instagram. Frankly, its significance seems to be lost on us. We’re more interested in what truly matters and matters deeply, rather than being preoccupied with Instagram.

Wood expressed a desire for more discussions centered around the narratives of the White Lotus characters, Rick and Chelsea, with people just appreciating the series as a whole.

In the midst of speculation, Wood originally intended to clarify matters, yet hesitated as she was concerned her explanation might be misconstrued.

She explained that after a while, she chose to observe as these individuals seemed to be creating something remarkable from seemingly nothing.

Goggins interjected with the observation: “To clarify, let me settle this matter: Following or not following, I’m a fully grown adult.

The star went on to confess that he has historically struggled with goodbyes. 

As an assistant, Goggins remembered embracing his ex-co-star from Justified, Tim Olyphant, and saying, “I cherish you, and I hope we cross paths in professional settings for many years to come.

He confessed that he hadn’t spoken to him for nearly two years, and he’s made a habit of avoiding any interaction with things, after doing so with everything he’s encountered.

In the most recent season of HBO’s series, Goggins and Wood played the ill-fated couple Rick and Chelsea, whose characters tragically perished in the climactic finale.
