WAG Brodie Ryan Slammed for Dramatic Breakup Posts After Split from AFL Star Nathan Buckley

Online, Brodie Ryan has been receiving backlash after making her breakup with ex-Collingwood player and coach Nathan Buckley a public matter.

In a surprising criticism, an Instagram user criticized the ex-WAG, aged 36, known for her frequent posts following her split with the 52-year-old AFL celebrity, due to what they perceived as overly dramatic content.

Journalist Amanda Goff, previously known as Samantha X and now residing in Melbourne, penned a remark similar to one that might be made by Buckingham Palace, announcing the passing of Princess Diana.

‘Despite her sorrow, the young woman playfully called herself and Nathan by the nicknames “Brodes” and “Buck,” a pairing that seems unlikely to have been used before.’

She wrote, “I’m sorry, but even though you might be recognized as Nathan’s bird in Melbourne, you are not on par with Posh and Becks.

More recently, Brodie has shared on her social platforms that she is planning to leave the Melbourne house she co-owned with Nathan after their separation.

On a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Tuesday, the woman with dark hair revealed her decision to depart from the coastal neighborhood of Elwood entirely.

Brodie posted an image as she enjoyed a glass of wine at the local tavern.

It’s the conclusion of a cherished chapter. I find it difficult to bid farewell to the small, beloved community of Elwood,” she wrote in her post.

Last year in June, both Brodie and Nathan jointly acquired a popular residential property located in an exclusive neighborhood and have since resided there.

I was absolutely thrilled when Brodie shared the news of their separation, only a few short hours ago. Yet, Nathan has yet to speak up about it, leaving me on tenterhooks for more insights.

‘To the followers of the ‘Brodes and Bucks’ journey,’ the former WAG began.

‘After much reflection and consideration, Nath and I have decided to part ways,’ she continued.

I appreciate your thoughtful messages and support during these challenging months. Your kindness and compassion are deeply appreciated.

This choice wasn’t taken casually, and we appreciate every moment spent together, the memories we built, and the kindness bestowed upon us by you all.

Though our romantic relationship has ended, I will continue to hold Nathan in high regard and cherish the friendship we’ve nurtured over the past 3-4 years. I have deep affection for him, his sons, and our beloved dog, Tank, and all the wonderful moments we’ve shared together.

Brodie noted: ‘Your comprehension and generosity during the last few months, as well as during this transitional phase, are greatly appreciated.’

‘We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter in our lives.
