How gameplay works in Volley Girls High School Story
Take control of the volleyball court! This game lets you manage all four player positions – Wing Spiker, Middle Blocker, Setter, and Libero – using simple on-screen controls. Collect players and build the ultimate team by scouting and opening card packs.
I can jump into a bunch of different modes – Story, League, Tournaments, and even just practice. Plus, I can play offline, which is awesome! The key to winning is learning all the special moves, like powerful spikes and serves that can really change the game. Honestly, it all comes down to timing – nailing the serve, set, and spike at just the right moment is everything.

Think through your moves to get the best results. If you’re new to this, start with the standard control setting until you get a feel for the timing and how quickly you need to react. I personally found it tricky to coordinate my reactions, so make sure your timing is precise if you choose a different control mode.
Volley Girls High School Story Beginners Guide: Tips and Tricks
Here are some Tips and Tricks for Beginners to remember:
1. Understand Each Role
Each player on the court has a unique role, and each position involves four key responsibilities. The Setter (S) is responsible for setting up plays and making precise passes. The Wing Spiker (WS) is the team’s main attacker. The Middle Blocker (MB) focuses on blocking opponents’ hits and executing quick attacks near the net.

Libero players (L) are your team’s top defenders, specializing in digs and saving the ball. Having skilled players in this role allows your team to respond quickly and effectively during each play.
2. Build and Upgrade Your Team
Collect characters by opening card packs, and try to find players whose skills work well together – like those with matching elemental powers or strong defensive abilities.

Okay, so I’ve figured out that if I build a team with four players from the same school, I get a ‘School Buff’ – basically, it makes my team work better together. And it’s super important to keep upgrading my players’ stats, because the competition gets tougher and tougher, and I need to stay on top of my game!
3. Use Special Moves Wisely
Okay, so each character has these awesome special moves – think ultimates – and they’re seriously powerful. They can either deal double damage or really swing the battle in your favor. But here’s the thing: don’t just mash the button! Save those special moves for when you’ve got a clear shot, or when you can really turn things around. Also, always be watching what your opponents are doing – if they’re charging up a special, be ready to counter with one of your own!
4. Know when to go aggressive by playing smart in Tournaments and Leagues
Winning consistently is more about mastering the basics than trying to make spectacular plays. Getting comfortable with how your team and controls work will help you win more games. While risky moves like jump serves or powerful spikes can change the course of a tight match, they shouldn’t be your primary strategy.
Instead of always trying to power through with blocked spikes – which can lose you points – look for weaknesses in the other team’s defense. Also, adjust your team’s strategy to counter what the opposing team does best. If they’re good at blocking, for instance, use faster, more accurate sets instead of relying on predictable spikes.
