In the final trailer for season 12 of Chicago P.D., it appears that Voight is gearing up for a confrontation with Reid, yet the events surrounding Burgess and Ruzek’s important day are conspicuously absent from the preview.
According to the latest TV Promos teaser, the trailer hints at Detective Voight taking a firm stance against his corrupt superior, Deputy Chief Reid, as the latter initiates an Internal Affairs probe into the Intelligence Unit. The Chicago PD season 12 finale sneak peek also reveals Voight conferring with Chapman, who advises him, “Avoid making decisions you can’t undo,” to which Voight replies, “I must.” Interestingly, there are no scenes in the trailer concerning the wedding of Burgess and Ruzek.
