Vogue Williams Reveals Shocking Truth About Unequal Chores with Spencer Matthews!
As a dedicated lifestyle aficionado, I find myself often reflecting on my daily routines and responsibilities within my household. Similar to many, I’ve recently faced a challenge in striking a balance with my partner, Spencer Matthews, regarding our shared domestic duties and parental roles. In an open and honest discussion, I’ve shared that the majority of household chores and parenting responsibilities fall on me – a situation I believe is common among many modern families.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I find myself sharing a beautiful journey with my partner, the ex-Made in Chelsea star, who’s now 36, since our wedding in 2018. We are blessed with three adorable bundles of joy – Theodore, aged six, Gigi, four, and Otto, two years young. In our family, love and laughter abound.
On the Netmums Podcast, Vogue shared insights about her family’s daily life, explaining how she and Spencer manage their household chores and childcare responsibilities together.
Wendy Golledge and Alison Perry inquired whether there was a scenario where roles were switched, with Vogue being the one to repair the faulty radiator, while Spencer took care of the school run.
However, the TV host openly confessed, “Gentle as can be, I’d put it this way: I repair the faulty radiator and drive the school carpool.
She subsequently disclosed the significant proportion she contributes to household chores, admitting this had led to a minor disagreement with her and Spencer earlier that day.

Vogue stated, “To be honest, I’m involved in about 80% of what happens here. This morning, we had a minor disagreement regarding the tasks I handle.
She then broke into laughter, as she admitted: ‘I’ve had enough today!’
During a chat on their shared podcast Vogue & Amber, the mother of three offered additional details about their household, sharing an incident where their youngest son Otto upset Spencer by waking him in the early morning hours.
In my experience as a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: This morning, I woke up to find a energetic little one barging into my room, eager to rouse my slumber. Before I could even blink, he was dashing towards the kitchen, setting the pace for the day ahead.
In my account, I found myself dashing into the kitchen where Spenny appeared restless. With a hint of exasperation, he declared, “I’ve fallen behind on sleep and I need to catch up.” It seems he values his rest as much as I value mine, focused on sleep deficits.
Last week, Spencer confessed that he has decided not to pass his wealth down to his three offspring, aiming to prevent them from leading a life of privilege as “trust fund recipients.
The avid health enthusiast is none other than the son of David Matthews, a wealthy hotelier from Eden Rock, and has received his education at the prestigious Eton College, with annual tuition fees totaling approximately £63,000.
Instead, he declared that he intends to instill in his kids the importance of earning their own income, since he has no plans to pass on all his wealth to them directly.

In my professional opinion, I believe that amassing success throughout one’s life only to pass it on to the next generation unchecked can be detrimental rather than beneficial. This approach may actually do more harm than good.
The star revealed that he draws inspiration from comedian Jimmy Carr, known for his open discussions on the concept of ‘privileged offspring’.
Jimmy articulates quite well his perspective on trust fund children, whom he views as unluckily receiving everything, a viewpoint with which I wholeheartedly concur.
Spencer stated: ‘If you’re a young individual who has already given all they have, whether male or female, you might never grasp the necessity of work because you believe you’ve already acquired what you desire. Consequently, you’ll never feel proud of your accomplishments or sense a feeling of achievement.’
After it was disclosed that she would have departed from her spouse, should he not stop his excessive drinking habit.
Earlier, Spencer confessed that during his heavy drinking phase, which included consuming approximately 10 pints of beer daily while working as a city trader, he might have lost his life.
His problems worsened due to his involvement in a popular E4 reality series, where he gained infamy for his excessive drinking and tumultuous romantic entanglements.
Currently focused on physical wellness, this celebrity recently amazed spectators by completing 30 sand marathons in 30 consecutive days in Jordan last August, shattering a Guinness World Record and already contemplating the challenge of competing in seven Ironman-style triathlons across all seven continents.

If Spencer hadn’t given up alcohol and changed his life, it’s possible that his relationship with Vogue may not have endured.
On the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast last year, she shared her thoughts: ‘His drinking habits, indeed, were problematic, as while my father was a heavy drinker, he wasn’t simply a drinker.’
‘He didn’t start his day with drinking, but by five in the evening, you could find him, without exception, at the local pub each and every day.’
She had brought up Spencer’s problematic drinking habit before, and she acknowledged that he managed to accomplish even greater things after giving up alcohol.
She admitted: “I noticed he was observing while I worked, and I started receiving some fascinating assignments and making significant progress, yet he seemed rather unproductive.
After making up his mind, he chose to quit alcohol, and almost immediately, he accomplished far more than before. Since then, his career trajectory has undergone a significant transformation.
His life underwent a significant transformation, leading him to a state where he can occasionally indulge in an alcoholic beverage. I believe it’s beneficial that he doesn’t feel compelled to drink constantly, as our home is alcohol-free.
We don’t avoid it out of fear of drinking it, but simply because we have no desire for it. I believe his action, of abstaining from it, was truly remarkable.
