Voce Listening Room & Cocktail Bar Unveiled by Milan’s Historic Triennale Museum

The renowned cultural institution and museum, Triennale Milano, has introduced Voce – a fresh, autonomous listening room and cocktail bar. This venue is set to accommodate Triennale’s musical events, ranging from live concerts to sound exhibits, discussions, and workshops. The vibrant 700 square feet space, located at the park level of Palazzo Dell Arte, will serve as an active hub for ongoing interaction throughout the year.

Architect Luca Cipelletti, from AR.CH.IT, spearheaded the revamp of the Piano Parco area, previously known as a branch of the ’60s nightclub, Piper. The improvements build upon Giovanni Muzio’s 1933 museum design, incorporating a new rectangular structure with pillars that creates three aisles and a 2.2-meter-high strip of soundproof and absorbing panels stretching from the floor to the ceiling.

As a gamer immersed in my virtual worlds, I’m proud to say that the space above me is adorned with a top-tier audio setup, painstakingly created in collaboration with hi-fi expert Giorgio Di Salvo, acoustic engineer Lucio Visentini, and Knauf, the masterful acoustic panel manufacturer. Meanwhile, the lighting solutions gracing this realm are the brainchild of Anonima Luci, an Italian studio that has magically brought monochromatic and gradient animation effects to life across the space. Lastly, the modular seating system, perfect for those long gaming sessions, is a creation of Philippe Malouin, crafted by Meritalia.

From Tuesday through Sunday, our cocktail bar will operate from 6 pm to 2 am, but during the first month, we’ll also be open for daytime visits starting at 10:30 am. You can find us within Palazzo dell Arte, accessible via Viale Camoens both from inside and outside.
