The Brazilian esports team, Vivo Keyd Stars, is collaborating with the digital gaming platform Estrelabet to promote a nationwide blood donation campaign.

As a passionate gamer, I’m excited to be part of an initiative by Vivo Keyd Stars, my favorite Brazilian esports organization, and Estrelabet, the online gambling platform I often visit, encouraging us all – gamers, esports enthusiasts, and even casual spectators like myself – to give back to our community. We’re teaming up to organize blood donation drives, aiming to make a tangible difference in people’s lives by helping ensure a steady supply of this essential resource. Let’s show the world that the gaming and esports community can come together for a good cause!

Bet on Life – Be a Hero

The nationwide blood drive named “Bet on Life – Become a Hero” encourages people to aid in strengthening Brazil’s health care system by donating blood. This campaign was advocated by players from Vivo Keyd Stars, including team members Felipe “flash” Porfirio and Leonardo “leo_drk” de Oliveira.

On July 14, individuals who wish to contribute can donate blood at the Pro-Sangue Foundation Clinics located in São Paulo. Please keep in mind that the usual requirements for blood donation will be enforced during this event.

Contributors are urged to highlight the campaign featuring Vivo Keyd Stars and Estrelabet during their clinic visits. The players associated with Vivo Keyd Stars will also participate, aiming to motivate contributors even more.

Representatives from both parties expressed their thoughts on the initiative. “The gaming community is highly active, and we are convinced that this level of engagement can make a significant difference in causes with real-world impact,” stated Victor Blecker, Head of Branding at Estrelabet. “Donating blood is a straightforward act that has the potential to save numerous lives.

Simultaneously, Hugo Tristão, CEO of Vivo Keyd Stars, expressed, “Giving blood is like supporting your team. On the field, we can heal or provide crucial protection. Here, the team is society, especially when it’s in dire need. Joining this campaign with our players is a way to demonstrate that values such as solidarity, teamwork, and dedication are shared not only by traditional sports but also by esports.

Earlier this year, Estrelabet received a complete permit from the Brazilian government to engage in online gaming activities. Shortly after, they formed a partnership with Vivo Keyd Stars and became one of their main sponsors. In addition to their CS2 team, the organization also fields a League of Legends squad, currently participating in the LTA Sul tournament.
