Visions of Mana Demo Out Now Ahead of RPG Sequel’s Late August Launch
As a longtime fan of the Mana series, I was beyond excited when Square Enix announced the release of a demo for Visions of Mana, the first mainline Mana game in over 15 years. The anticipation built up as I downloaded and installed the demo on my Xbox Series X, eagerly waiting to dive back into this magical world that has brought me so much joy throughout my gaming life.
Square Enix has made available a preview version, known as a demo, for the upcoming “Visions of Mana” – the primary installment in the Mana series since over a decade and a half. It is set to be released in late August.

As I dive into this new gaming adventure, I find myself starting right at the beginning of the story. Finishing the demo unlocks a trio of weapons for my character, Val, to use in the upcoming full game. However, it’s important to note that any progress made during the demo won’t transfer over to the full game when it launches next month.
The role-playing game, Visions of Mana, is scheduled to come out on the 29th of August for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and personal computers. For a sneak peek at some fresh gameplay with a formidable giant squid boss, please see the video below.
