Visionary Director Eyed for New Marvel Movie

There’s buzz that Marvel Studios is considering a collaboration with director Jordan Peele for a future Marvel movie or series. While Marvel hasn’t confirmed anything yet, the news has quickly gotten fans excited about the possibility.

Marvel wants Jordan Peele to direct a new movie

Sources say Marvel Studios is considering working with Jordan Peele, the director known for his award-winning films, on a future project.

I’m hearing from a reliable source, Daniel Richtman, that Marvel is really interested in having Jordan Peele direct one of their future movies! It sounds like they’ve been talking to him, but there’s no official deal in place yet. As far as we know, they haven’t decided which movie he’d direct, and Marvel hasn’t said anything publicly to confirm this, but it’s definitely something they’re considering.

This news comes after Jeff Sneider reported on his podcast, The Hot Mic, that Jordan Peele had discussed potentially directing a Marvel Studios film.

I heard that Jordan Peele was actually in the running to direct the new X-Men movie! Apparently, the studio was considering him before they went with Jake Schreier, who’s directing Thunderbolts*. Jeff Sneider clarified that while they did talk, nothing was ever officially set in stone, so it was just an early conversation.

Jordan Peele really burst onto the scene after making the leap from hilarious sketch comedy to directing films. His first feature, Get Out, was a massive hit with critics – he even won an Oscar for the screenplay! Since then, he’s become a name you instantly recognize, directing some incredibly compelling movies like Us, Nope, Candyman, and he also did fantastic work on BlacKkKlansman. He’s quickly established himself as a major force in filmmaking, and I’m always excited to see what he does next.

Okay, so as a huge Marvel fan, it feels like things are shifting a bit over at Marvel Studios. They’re working on what’s coming up in Phase 6, which is all building towards this massive ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ movie – that’s currently slated to wrap up the whole Multiverse Saga in December 2027. After that, they’re planning to kick off Phase 7 in 2028, so it’s a whole new chapter for the MCU!

It’s currently unknown what project Marvel might be considering Jordan Peele for. Marvel Studios hasn’t officially announced any plans to work with him on a future movie.
