He seemed to have everything a man could want in life, especially considering his age. This included his beautiful family home, Firle Place, a grand estate in East Sussex that’s been used as a filming location in many movies, like the 2020 version of Jane Austen’s *Emma*.

He also owns a large estate of over 7,000 acres, a village, and, notably, is married to a woman 35 years his junior, with whom he shares a teenage son.

Life hasn’t been easy for 91-year-old Viscount Gage recently. This follows sixteen years of marriage to Alexandra Murray Templeton, who was pregnant when they married. This detail led to the nickname ‘the virile viscount’ for Nicky Gage.

This couple has endured a deeply distressing experience that would be incredibly difficult for anyone. They’ve been relentlessly stalked for years by a woman named Danielle Millis, age 30. Thankfully, their friends are relieved to learn that a court has now issued a temporary order to protect them.

This prevents Millis from contacting either individual, or Henry, the 50-year-old heir to the viscount and the elder of his two sons from his first marriage to Lady Diana Beatty. It also prohibits contact with Henry’s friends, TV producer Camilla Campbell and her husband, Julian Kingsland.

The court order prevents Millis from contacting the Gages in any way – including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, letters, emails, or social media messages. It also prohibits her from making troublesome complaints, accusations, sharing information publicly, or issuing threats. Furthermore, she is not allowed to contact anyone working on the Gages’ 500-year-old family estate.

The viscount and his wife haven’t offered any comment, but a friend said it’s been a really tough period and hopes this recent development will offer them the security they require.

Luckily, Nicky Gage – a man with an impressive art collection featuring pieces by masters like Rubens, Gainsborough, and Van Dyke – is known for being thoughtful and easygoing.

He wrote in his memoir that he missed out on the social changes of the 1960s. He was usually busy farming – either working on his tractor or tending to his sheep – and when he did visit his parents, their butler didn’t appreciate his casual, farm-worn clothes.

In 2004, Tatler magazine listed him as one of the country’s most desirable single men, which led him to comment, ‘I guess this is what they call the era of the older man.’

Just before his wedding to Alexandra, he reflected on how much things had changed. He joked that while he hadn’t had a girlfriend when he was young and attractive, he was now successful with women despite being older and greyer. He felt he’d actually improved over time.

Roxy Horner, who hasn’t walked a runway in over three years, is returning to fashion during London Fashion Week. She is engaged to comedian Jack Whitehall.
