The new movie Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice is quickly becoming a hit on streaming services, and it’s only been out for a few weeks!
According to FlixPatrol, the new movie Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice is quickly becoming popular on streaming platforms. While it recently dropped out of Hulu’s top ten, it’s still the eighth most-watched movie on Disney+’s Hulu and is gaining momentum.
The Success of Hulu’s Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice
The new movie premiered on Hulu on March 27th and offers a fresh take on action comedies with a time-bending twist. James Marsden plays Quick Draw Mike, a hitman who teams up with Vince Vaughn’s character, Nick—a loan shark—for one final job before trying to leave the criminal life behind.
Mike gets caught up in a bizarre situation when he helps Nick kidnap someone, only to realize the victim is actually Nick himself – but from the present. The Nick he thought he knew is from the future. This discovery launches them into a chaotic adventure filled with malfunctioning time machines, relentless cannibalistic killers, and a seemingly hopeless effort to fix a broken timeline.
Let me tell you about the cast of Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice – it’s packed with talent! Alongside the leads, Vaughn and Marsden, you’ve got Eiza González as Nick’s wife, Alice, and Keith David bringing some serious heat as the mob boss, Sosa. Dolph Lundgren shows up as this mysterious character called Barron, which is fun. And honestly, the supporting cast is fantastic – Jimmy Tatro, Arturo Castro, Emily Hampshire, Ellen Wong, Dylan Playfair, Ella Ballentine, Stephen Root, Lewis Tan, and Ben Schwartz all bring something special to the table. It’s a really solid group of actors.
The film received positive reviews from critics, earning a “Certified Fresh” rating of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on over 100 reviews. In comparison, viewers gave it a score of 62% on the site’s “Popcornmeter,” based on more than 250 ratings.
What’s Next for the Stars of Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice?
Following her role in Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice, Eiza González will star in Guy Ritchie’s new action thriller, In the Grey, hitting theaters on May 15th. The film features Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal as Sid and Bronco, highly skilled mercenaries on a dangerous mission to retrieve a huge sum of money stolen by a cruel and violent dictator.
James Marsden will officially join the Marvel Cinematic Universe on December 19th. This movie will also introduce several actors from the X-Men franchise to the MCU, such as Rebecca Romijn, Alan Cumming, James Stewart, and Ian McKellen.
As a film fan, I’m happy to share that you can now watch Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice on Hulu and Disney+ if you’re outside of the US!
