Vince Neil’s Girlfriend Released From Hospital After Deadly Jet Crash

Through a post that has since been removed from their social media platform, the band’s account shared the news that Neil’s partner, known as Rain Hannah (whose real name is Rain Andreani), was discharged from the hospital on a Wednesday.

The update mentioned that another person, who was traveling with her on the plane, had also been released from the hospital, as reported by Arizona’s Family news station.

On a fateful Monday, Neil’s plane collided with another aircraft in Scottsdale, Arizona, as a result of a faulty landing gear system. This tragic incident claimed the life of pilot Joie Vitosky, aged 78, and left Andreani, Vince’s girlfriend, and two others seriously injured at the age of 43.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d put it this way: I wasn’t on that flight when it met with an unfortunate incident, because I was busy celebrating a milestone birthday – my 64th, no less! – down in sunny Florida instead.

Despite her needing hospitalization due to some severe injuries, it was previously reported by TMZ that she had fractured five ribs; however, these injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Apart from Andreani and a companion, it was also the co-pilot who ended up being admitted to the hospital following the plane crash.

According to Arizona’s Family, he was still hospitalized as of Wednesday’s update. 

Andreani was flying on an airplane since she is a professional barrel racer and needed to be in Buckeye, Arizona by Monday for the registration of the three-day Royal Crown barrel racing event, as her friend Lance Graves informed TMZ on Wednesday.

Graves shared that Neil sat out the trip while celebrating his birthday festivities in Florida.

Instead of planning to attend the competition alongside his girlfriend from the get-go, Neil intended to arrive only when the event officially began on Thursday, February 13th. Before that, he had plans to enjoy some partying down south.

Moreover, it was verified that Andreani would no longer participate because of her injuries; instead, she will devote her attention towards her healing process.

He mentioned that individuals within Vince’s close group are dedicated to providing Rain with ‘sufficient time and understanding’ for her to recover from the traumatic event.

Later, Graves discussed Vince’s unwavering devotion towards pilot Vitosky, an elderly Marine veteran. Tragically, it was Vitosky who lost his life, heroically attempting to rescue Rain and other passengers on the ill-fated flight.

It’s reported that, after retiring from commercial airlines, Vince apparently chose to work with Vitosky, whom he had known and flown with for many years.

Graves characterized Vince’s bond with the deceased pilot as “exceptional” and noted that “it’s rare to find individuals as compassionate and faithful as him in our current times.

In the surprising video, a private jet can be seen moving down the runway. It seems like it collides with something, causing the plane to slide across the airfield.

Alternatively, viewed from another perspective, the plane appears to be rapidly approaching a still aircraft, only to collide with its side.

In the aftermath of the plane accident, Rain and her companion Ashley, who fortunately escaped harm, were quickly transported to a hospital close by. This information was shared by someone familiar with the events, according to TMZ on Monday.

Multiple pet dogs the women brought aboard the aircraft were safe, sources told the outlet.

In a post on Twitter, the band officially announced that Vitosky perished in the accident, and they plan to participate in providing support for the family of the deceased pilot.

Earlier today, a plane belonging to Vince Neil, known for songs like Home Sweet Home, Wild Side, and Without You, suffered a crash near Scottsdale, AZ. According to their social media post, the pilot unfortunately lost his life in this incident. The co-pilot and other passengers were transported to nearby hospitals.

On Tuesday, I shared my thoughts with the Arizona Republic regarding the recent plane crash, expressing my belief that my father, Vitosky, played a crucial role in ensuring the survival of the other passengers onboard.

She shared with the media outlet that she sincerely feels confident that the other passengers survived due to his actions from the day before.

Vitosky has been a pilot for six decades, starting from when he enlisted in the Marine Corps. During this time, he initially operated helicopters and later transitioned to jet aircraft, as his daughter pointed out.

Regardless of his advanced years, Schertzer noted that her father’s health was flawless – “In fact, he had no issues at all. His eyesight was exceptional, even surpassing the 20/20 vision benchmark.

The vet, who studied to become an engineer, served several tours in Vietnam.

From a small town in Okemah, Oklahoma, Vitosky enlisted in the Marine Corps at a young age, with a dream of taking flight. This is what his former wife, Ann Vitosky, recalled.

Ann said she believed Vitosky had been flying for Neil for ‘a few’ years.

Throughout his aviation career, he had the privilege of flying notable figures such as Jesse Jackson, Maureen Reagan (daughter of President Ronald Reagan), and several influential oil tycoons.

In addition, Vitosky has worked as an aviator for corporations like FedEx, and he flew transplant patients to critical operations that could save their lives.

In simpler terms, his daughter explained that while many wealthy individuals were part of his career, he also had numerous people who required urgent assistance.

Vitosky also leaves behind two other children and four grandchildren.
